This guy is right... The thing that sucks is my boy Cotto has had only 2 defeats both at the hands of cheaters. What luck is that!! I say we do a rematch against this sorry *ss with no roids and margachito with no bricks in his gloves and I guarantee Cotto would send both these clowns into retirement!

I am so glad that real boxing fans will rise to the top. Once this crap shakes down, everyone will see what Manny has done to his career with this ill-advised move. Also it will come to light how he has amassed these wines by crippling the division with match weights. The last bout he fought without that was Marquez and I had him losing that one. Now he is gonna fight Yuri? Most Manny fans wont even know who he is or who he beat to get his belt. This is proof Manny is scared:

Shane Mosely - Manny wont fight him

Andre Berto - Manny wont fight him

Joshua Clottey - May fight him only because he is a top rank fighter

Paul Williams - Hell no one will fight him

Paulie M - Might fight him, but he has also accused Manny of PEDs so now all of sudden he wont fight him.

Timothy Bradley - This is a can of whoop ass for Manny to take. But Manny wont do this either.

I can name more, but these are off top top 6 fighters (with exception of Paulie, but they mentioned him first) that will jump at the chance to fight Manny. Why wont he fight them? Well they have either accused him of PEDs or will require PEDs testing. So the best way is to take a road of less resistance by setting up another top rank fighter with a belt to take the fall. After all he cannot sue everyone. But boxing is starting to see through this. Only fans Manny has left are the Filipinos...lol.

I agree with you statement about Mayweather to some degree. Dude is a true boxer and I believe will fight anyone. But we all know that mayweather fights for checks. If your fighter is not a box office draw he will not fight him. Earlier in his career yea, but now? No. And I am in no way a Mayweather fan. But I truly appreciate how he bought the "science" back into the sweet science. I cannot think of a boxer boxing today that can dissect his opponent the way Mayweather does.

Anyway, Manny pulled a fast one and this lawsuit crap is non-sense. He is only suing Mayweather over all the others is because of his name. Mayweather is one of the ambassadors of the sport. And Manny could have used this to his advantage and become a ambassador of the sport by taking this test(s) therefore setting the stage of promoting fair competition in a sport that is dogged with crookedness and cheats. Which he now joins the ranks IMO.

you're entitled to your opinion. my point is with mayweather and gbp accusing him w/out proof, he may lose endorsements. that why he is suing. for mayweather, it's just all smoke. he never wanted to fight pac. this is his way to get away from it. now mayweather says 14 days. he never brought that to the mediation. although, now he claims he did. what if pac takes the bluff, what excuse will he have next? or maybe mayweather will fake an injury. you don't think that taking the blood test 24 days will show anything, and also taking it right after the fight. so, i guess the nevada commission is just a joke then. at this point, they would have test to test any masking agents. this is now a big issue and for pac to agree to a blood test, any commission will test for everything. floyd never asks anybody else to take a test, why now??? what kind of proof can you provide that pac is juicing??? all the proof you have is he won't do random testing. that's not proof at all. that's speculation at most.

You must not be following this thing closely. Did you know that Manny proposed a 10 million dollar per pound fee for every pound over 147? That is unheard and admitted by their camp that they thought Mayweather would not go for it. You knwo why they did it? Because something similar was implemented int eh Mayweather v Marquez fight. But it was 10k per pound. Mayweather chose to pay the fine and went on to blow out Marquez, whom gave Manny all he can handle and should have won. Now why you ask did Mayweather come in the ring heavy? That is because that is what all fighters do. The make weight at the official weigh in. Then come in their more natural weight. Usually 6-10 pound over the weigh in limit. but Manny tries to cripple that with Match weights. now if someone makes a move and places a ridiculous request out there in anticipation of the other side not taking it, thus endangering the chance of an event taking place. Who is really the scared one?

I wouldnt want to step in the ring with a cheater either. Just like pitchers would not want to face Barry Bonds. it is bad enough he is imposing unfair weight limits. Manny is not afraid to fight Floyd. He is afraid to fight Floyd clean or fight Floyd and test dirty. Plain and simple. Taking a blood test is not hard. He did it 14 days before the Hatton fight. Only thing is they were not testing for PEDs in that test so he had no issue taking it.

Keep in mind Floyd is not the first to accuse Manny. He just is the highest profile boxer to do so. Paulie M, whom Manny was going to fight instead of Floyd as announced by Arum was among the first to accuse Manny. Yet they were going to fight him. But soon as he said he would require PEDs test. They switched to Yuri, whom Arum promotes. So you can guarantee no test there. Now who do you think is ducking. Facts and actions speak louder that speculation. Flowyd has remained steadfast in his stance. Manny's story has changed hella times.

This is the same Arum whom backed Roach when they said blood testing would be no problem. It was only a problem when it came to Manny and his nutritionist. Keeping that in mind, how many black people are on this site who side with Manny in this debate? Also, are there any Filipino people who side with Mayweather?

I remember being in HS in Berkeley in the 90's(very diverse school) and watching the OJ verdict during a history class I was taking with about 35 other students.

When the verdict came in, there was overwhelming celebration by the black students (slapping hi fives, running out of the classroom, etc), and noticeable dissapproval by the white kids. Like Chris Rock said, "Weeee Won!! ..... What the F did we win???"

i really just hope the fight still happens... also, if mayweather gets his ass kick, i hope all you haters don't come up with more excuses. as long as the contracts are signed, that means both boxers agrees to terms. there should not be any excuses whatsoever. boxers signs the contract believing they can win with all the stipulations. let's hope the fight happens. it's good for boxing. i guess we can agree on that.

Truth be told I do not like Floyd, he would not a candidate for my fav boxer. And if it were the other way I would be on Manny's side. I am a fan of boxing period. And wrong is wrong. But then again I am a athlete so I do not see color when I assess a person. Not saying non-athletes do, just saying I see the need for fair competition because even at my age I get in the ring still.

First, for boxer it is not hgh as much is it is EPO (what Moseley took for the De la hoya fight)...Also you must understand that the purpose of PEDs for fighter is not to take the night of the fight, but for training...The PEDs allow them to train hard and longer and essentially becoming a stronger, quicker, faster fighter...It has been stated several times by testing officials that Pacquiao's testing protocol is of 60, 24, and after the fight are not effective for PEDs testing...The timing and lack of randomness allows for the use of masking agents and clean blood transfusions...Also the argument that he has never tested positive before for any fight holds no water because no one is testing for PEDs such as HGH and PEDs...

Also in order for Pacquiao to maintain 145lbs he is required to eat over 18,000 calories...How much easier would that be accomplished using HGH?...and the purpose of drug testing, urine or blood is not to actually catch people, but to deter people...For those of you who believe that this type of testing is not required by the Nevada Boxing Commission so it shouldn't be a part of this fight ask yourself this...If you were fighting, risking your life, against someone you suspected of using PEDs would you ask them to take a test before you take a fight with your life on the line?...Also people always have this list of people that Mayweather has avoided lets look at the facts...
1. Margarito - Hmm, I bet Cotto wishes he avoided him, Verified Cheater

Here the real facts...Also boxing scene is pretty anti-Mayweather...Regardless right now the ball is in Pacquiao's court...He has been called out by the best opponent...He was given every thing he asked for to fight and just has to take a blood test to make twice to three times more than any other fight he could make...

Finally, N8 will agree what is the difference between requiring a fighter to fight at match weights "weight the night of the fight"...and requiring a fighter to take random blood test...

Manny has been a great fighter in and out of the ring showing high character and what people want to see out a champion...He is a hero to most of his fans and adored by the media...Mayweather on the other hand is disliked by 80-90% of boxing media because of his lifestyle and attitude. They judge his actions and comments as if he is a villian in a movie. Only true fans respect him for what he is, an uber talented fighter who is a social outcast because he is not the media's idea of what a boxing champion lifestyle should be...With Manny being deemed the good guy and Mayweather the villain in this situation i can see how most writer would take Manny's side...

Now lets get your fact straight
Facts
1. Manny had every demand on his wish list granted by Mayweather in order to make the fight.
2. Only a teaspoon of blood is need for testing. you would lose more in a nose bleed.
3. Both random urine and blood testing is needed to effectively test for PEDs.
4. Manny does not care about the cut-off day but will not do random or through anyone but the Nevada Boxing Commission.
5. Nevada Boxing Commission is not setup to do Blood Testing and would not be in time for the fight...They would have to outsource to another agency...Arum has known this that is why he keeps saying we will only do testing if the NBC does the testing.
6. Mayweather has not said he would fight anyone or that he is ready to move on to a different opponent.
7. 10 different fighter have to date accussed Manny of using PEDs.

Not Facts
1. Nevada Boxing Commission test for HGH, EPO, and other designer steriods...
2. All Peds can be tested through urine...
3. All urine tests taken by the Nevada Boxing Commission is tested...
4. Blood Testing close to fight night will weaken a fighter...
5. Blood test after the fight will detect all and any PEDs...

Two people are putting their lives on the line...I believe it should be mandatory to test and ensure both are 100% clean before fighting...If the Nevada Boxing Commission testing protocol is not sufficient than the necessary step need to be made ensure the safety of the boxers...If the fight happens without testing and Mayweather coming to the fight looking bigger and stronger and knocks Pacquiao out and hurting him badly all Pacquiao fans will be crying for testing and throwing PEDs allegations...Lets make a stand to have this fight between two clean fighter fighting to determine who is the best P4P fighter today.

we know for a fact that mosley took PED, how come the testing done (nevada athletic commission) to mosley did not detect PED?

the longer this keeps going the more i am convince pacroid is guilty...
