Who the fuck wants to stand in front of someone and trade shots? Professional fighters use there strengths to expolit there opponents weaknesses. If I am fighting someone with heavy hands,i'm gonna use my speed and try to neutralize gettin my chin checked lol! Rashad used his wrestling skills and was winning easily until he got clipped in the last round. Silva was too stupid or too tired to jump on rashad and finish. I think Mr. T (rampage) has a good chance of K.Oing rashad when they fight.

cant fault the guy for following the game plan. its about time we see a rashad that presses the action and actually uses his wrestling.

thiago was a dumb ass for letting off after rashad was stunned. his only chance to win at that point was to finish rashad but due to lack of cardio his resting period allowed rashad to recover.

Maaaaaaaaaan.rashd took him down and did absolutely nothing but get the take down..thiago easily stood up...ufc is getting like boxing ..but from what we saw rashad could have never really beat thiago. Rashad needed that w to get to rampage ..you know rampage is not gonna wanna fight someone coming off a loss he wants that tittle shot too.since rampages last fight was a ko win over wanderlei...thiago is the man...I think he's the only one in the division that has a chance over machida..other than that ...did y'all see junior dos santos..???, that boy is a probleeeeem...I think we may see carwin vs santos ..since velasquz vs nogueira is gonna happen...

HAHA what the fuck do u mean who wants to stand in front of someone and trade punches.. hello buddy its a fiiiiiiight. if you can fight you should be able to stand in the pocket and bang it out, and have enough head movement to do so and not get hit. especially how rashad swears he can box. trust me bro i wrestled for hella long did ju jitsu and boxed too i understand about using your stengths.. i never said dont use your wrestling rashad but i said dont dry fuck him after you get him down and get position.. there are plenty of good people who use there wrestling to get a dominant positon. but to just take someone down and not do anything with it and lay and pray thats not a fight.

and yes mr T will knock rashad out easily, you have that correct for sure. rashad has a glass jaw and it will be exposed. i swear last night was the night for knockouts though. paul daley is a hog.

Thank you! I'd give points for a fist to the face than a kick to the arm. Shogun clearly lost that fight against Machida. Reason people say Machida lost is only because he actually did get scored on more than usual.

Last night Rashad fought the only fight he knew he'd win at. Great game plan. If Silva can't adjust and answer Rashad then that is his f'n problem. Did I want Rashad to win,....NO but he fought his fight.

i was watching the fight where shogun out-struck machida 2 to 1 and took it to him landing the more damaging and powerful blows.

the statistics for this fight further prove what many saw in that machida lost but given these are boxing judges im not a bit surprised at the decision. there is a reason why the ufc scheduled an immediate rematch. u really think if machinda won that fight decisively they would do such a thing?

machida is still the champ obviously cuz the judges were watching a different fight. lol. there is a reason why many say to never let the fights go to the judges cuz we've seen time and time again where fights shouldve gone the other way. shogun outstruck machida, took it to him like and won rounds like no one has ever been able to in the past. machida may have no shown damage on his face but his body was telling a different story.

as far as rashad, i like the guy cuz he's one who's been doubted from the start and is slowing progressing to becoming a better/elite fighter despite his weaknesses. i still think u cant fault the guy for following a strategy which in effect got him the win regardless if it wasnt as exciting as ppl wanted it to be. standing in front for a toe to toe war may win fan support but is a stupid strategy especially if you may be exploiting your own weakness. this aint tough man ppl!!
what ass kicking did tito put on rashad? clinching on the fence, taking him down only to let him get back up? that would be like saying rashad put a beating on silva.
rashad does have his hands full when he fights rampage, however.

I'm not hating on Rashad for following a game plan or using his wrestling.. I'm sayin fuck Rashad cause he would take him down and either let him up or just lay on him. If your gonna use your wrestling then advance positioning.. Shogun whooped machida.. Mahida lip was split and I believe his nose and his side was fuuuckd up.. I don't know what some people watched here in that fight. It amazes me. And no shogun will not get knocked out hahahah

On the flip side perhaps he wasn't able to do anything cuz he was rolling with a bjj black belt who was able to get up easily on the first open opportunity. Rashad bad some ground success against the likes of lambert and griffen both who aren't slouches on the ground either but It does seem like every other fight Rashad has a Luke warm performance followed by a good one..

Well in my opinion Rashads wrestling should have been able to neutralize silva's ju jitsu.. Now don't forget they were all excited Rashad is now a black belt too so I feel like someone who is supposebly a real "good" wrestler with a black belt in jits should be able to dominate on top and take any positioning wanted. Rashad just had no shoulder pressure and didn't keep silva pinned to the mat allowing him up numerous times.
