not mine, but I'm helping my brother-in-law get this one into presentable shape on a budget.

He bought it for $300, `73 smog exempt factory 302 v8/c4 auto 4 dr car.

Dropped an `85 gt 5.0 into it with longtubes, edelbrock performer intake, and a double pumper 4 barrel carb with 2 feeds. Not running yet, still dealing with getting the right parts together to get everything to work. He also threw some bullitt wheels onto it. Plans are an explorer rear end, an AOD, and I want to talk him into nitrous
[burnout]

The mav has got to be one of my all time 'least favorite' Fords. Right up there with the mustang II and the granada. Whatever floats your boat though.

I had a 71 two door a while back that had a built 302, C4 and 4.10's. They are a sick looking car when built right, I miss that car and wish I could have finished it.

Mavs have to be done right to be on point IMO. I mean paint, interior, wheels.... They look like dookie during the building phase, but once complete they are pretty clean.

Thats i nicer way of putting it.

Mavs, granadas, mustangIIs,PINTOs are somewhat of an uncomfortable topic to give an honest op without coming off as a hater.
