i use mobile 1. No need to put royal purple or an expensive filter if you change your oil all the time.

I run motorcraft 5w-20 with motorcraft fl-820s filters on all my cars, seriously they all use the same filter even (`89 w/explorer oil cooler, `97 cobra motor, `02 5.4L harley)

Man, I used to be one of these people that would spend extra dough on my favorite oil brand. Again this goes back to when I owned my 93 coupe and spent a fortune on it, lol.

These days, I use 10W-30. Don't care if Ronald McDonald, The Colonel, or Dave Thomas is smiling on the label.

The focus is on changing it every 4-5K miles... That's what is important.

For break in you should use Shell Rotella T. Its a very good product.
