i was on my way to work ( running late )and got stopped and long story short issued ticket for wreckless driving, now iam willing to pay whatever the fine is not so much worried about that as iam the misdemeanor and losing my liscense has anyone else ever been in this predicament that can help

how can i get it reduced to a infraction and keep my liscense iam in the Marine Corp and dont want this to affect my re enlistment.

Also talked to lawyer said he can get it reduced with one point only and i only have to go to court once but goona cost a grand or so

talk to the public defender..I got a wreckless driving a few years back and the the public defender talked to the judge and got it reduced to two infractions, running a yield, and unsafe start. I only got one point instaed of two.
