Old post got deleted or i just can't find it so i am just going to make a new one.
This is what it looked like when i bought it on feb. 13th 2006
I got it media blasted and this is what it looked like when i got it back. Had some damage. I spent a lot of time on the bodywork, probably longer than i should have but i was working at the time and didn't have much time to finish.
Front Suspension:
- Martz custom frame
- QA1 Coil overs
- Flaming river steering
- Wilwood 13 inch disc brakes
Rear Suspenion:
- Martz coil overs
- Fully adjustable 4 link
- Ford 9" with 3.89 gears, 35spline axles and a detroit locker with 13 inch Wilwood disc brakes
The Motor:
460 bored and stroked to 532 Big Block Ford;
- Probe pistons
- Canton Oil pan
- .588 intake, .614 exhaust cam
- Edelbrock Heads and Intake
- Crane Cams rocker arm girdle
- 950cfm Holly Carb
- MSD ignition/MSD distributor
The Drivetrain:
- Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
- Lakewood bullet proof bellhousing
- TKO600
- Aluminum driveshaft
The Interior:
- Black interior
- 4 point roll bar
- Autometer gauges in stock dash
- Brushed aluminum dash
- Stock leather seats
- Custom Center console to hold my stereo unit and 3 more Autometer guages
- Kenwood DVD/GPS headunit with 2 5" Pioneer speakers, 2 6x9 Pioneer speakers and a Pheonix Gold 300Watt Amp and a PG 10" Sub.
- I knew with all the torque the big block was going to give me i needed subframe connectors so i cut the floor to put them in
Exterior:
- Laser Red Paint
- Shelby GT500 Scoops
- Shelby Torq-Thrust M wheels with Nitto 315 drag radials in the rear and Nitto 245 tires in the front
- The only badging i am going to put on this car is a Shelby snake in the front grill and possibly get my cousin to paint 532 into the side of the cowl hood.
- Wanted to keep it as stock looking as possible on the exterior but i forgot how tall the 460 motors are so i had to get a big cowl.
If you wanna see more pictures go here

I'll keep adding more description...

Of course i am going to Open headers too
I am kinda nervous on how loud its going to be.
The exhuast is going to be the long tubes i am building now into an x pipe and then into mufflers dumped (i hate tail pipes) but its going to be loud as hell so not sure what kind of mufflers i should get.

So i got pretty much one side of the headers done today. I thought it was going to take me a month the way it started out but once my dad and i got into it we started getting ideas and putting things together.

2" pipes out of the heads stepping up to 2 1/8", 4" collector stepping down to 3" x-pipe going into Magnaflow mufflers dumped. The entire system was built by M&M Mufflers in Auburn, CA. I am going to get the entire exhaust jet coated.

Got the fuel line in today, all i need to do is pressure test it, get some 91, wire the gauges and ignition up and i can start her up. Might start her up though after i've gotten the interior in which might be one more day of work after the dash.

Does that suspension have any adjustability outward? Looks like the front wheels could use a 1/2" spacer?

No adjustment outwards, anymore outwards and it would hit. I need to get ti aligned and hope it doesn't hit, right now the passenger tire hits the fender if i turn it all the way over, the driverside did it too but i adjust it back so it wouldnt. Didn't know the passengerside was doing it too until i took it to the exhaust shop.

looks like you installed some new floor pans. make sure you get some seam sealer over those welds it will really help against rusting and it wont be as obvious that you had to weld new pans in!

I am not sure what its going to put down, the engine builder than built the shortblock said 750+/- on Horsepower TV they built a 460 up with pretty much the same stuff and made 607 but mine is a 532. I am just hoping for more than 532HP lol.

So i got the center console pretty much done, just did the e-brake install and its working so now i can install the entire interior and get to work on finishing the dash. My dad has all the dash wiring together he just needs to do it (i don't do wiring) and then i can start her up. I was going to start her up open headers but i am worried it might blow the lights off the ceiling above the car so i am going to start it up with the full exhaust lol
Heres some side pics with the hood and i will post the sik e-brake setup tomorrow night.

Yeah
I missed the what numbers it puts down question so i will answer it now. I am not sure what its going to do, i am going to get it dynotuned at AED this spring/summer after i get it aligned. The guy that built the shortblock for me said with my combo it should put down 750+, the guy that did the exhaust thinks 650+ i am just hoping for more than 532 lol.
This months magazine Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords has a Mustang in it with a 532 and its making 874 . I haven't read the article yet to see if its the same setup as mine.

i was driving my 95GT and a 65 GT FB went by me and waved and he pulled into a gas station so i pulled in behind him and talked to him. He just put a new 351 in it and i told him what i was doing to mine, he looked at me funny then told me to not take it to the NC Mustangers shows cause they point out every flaw and bag on any modification. They are purists. I went to one of their shows with my 95 once and a riced out 98 Chevy Malibu(or something like that) won "Best in Show" so i know they have no taste. Ugliest car i've ever seen.

Going to start wiring possibly tomorrow. My center console has been a pain to get to fit right but so far it does so we're painting it, and while its drying we'll be connecting the wiring for it so we can install it.

how about compare something u built rather than brag about your daddy's car. u might as well start saying "my daddy has a bigger pussy than your mama." sounds really childish when you're trying to justify why something u didnt build nor that doesnt belong to you is better than other ppls cars.

I am pretty sure if everything goes smoothly like it did today that at the end of the week we might be starting it. The only thing we need to wire now is the guages and finish my custom center console wiring so about 10+/- wires. I still haven't put the spark plug wires on though and i do need some spark plug wire harness but that's it. Well a shifting knob too but i haven't found one i really like yet.

It was soo windy we didn't go out into the garage until the wind calmed down today. We stayed in to make sure no trees came down on the house.

Its 34 degrees outside and we just got all the wiring done.
All i need to do before a fire up is
1. make sure its as close to the right timing as possible
2. put all the gauges and stuff in
3. connect 2 ground wires in the engine compartment
4. connect the ground for the fuse block
5. connect the ground for the fuel pump relay
6. hook up the battery
7. add coolant and fuel
8. connect the clutch and bleed it
9. install the front seats
10. maybe some misc stuff i can't think of right now

Had a set back today, after test fitting the new center console in to get it to fit right we scratched up the dash so we re-painted it last night and the paint lifted i had to resand the entire dash and we had to reprimer it so we didn't get to install guages today.
The good news though is we connected the battery and the interior lights work, the headlights work and the water pump runs.

That sucks about the paint how do you keep it from lifting is it cracking to I always have problems with that to

Well maybe, i just need to check to see if any water is in the oil from the coolant leak. If there is no starting, if there isn't starting.
Tonight was the first time i sat in the front seatsince i bought it 2 years 349 days ago.

So...I was going to start it today but we had clutch issues and we fixed that then we weren't getting fuel so we started in the back and found the pump wasn't pumping fuel so we played with that for a bit and then we found we connected the fuel lines backwards lol. We fixed that and got fuel pressure and fuel to the carb but its leaking in the fuel line and we couldn't tighten it up anymore so tomorrow we're going to pull it all apart and look at the threads and see if something is wrong with it.

OK i started it, Its nasty like a top fuel dragster!
I don't know how i am not going to get a ticket driving this thing on the road.
Haven't been able to break in the cam though its a flat tappet cam and you have to rev the motor up to 2k to 3k never keeping it constant.
The first start up some plastic above my header melted and caught fire then we found a shit load of water leaks, one leak we even thought was oil but it turns out to be coolant running from the front of the motor to the back.
I just came in from our second attempt at getting the cam broken in and my dad told me to shut it off cause the headers were GLOWING red, i got out and looked and they were. Its not timed and died right when i let off the gas. (I was told to fuck the timing just break in the cam before doing anything) We've found that our water leak is our Meznere electric water pump, its leaking from a hole in the bottom of the pump So tomorrow we're going to take it off and see what it is and hope the pump is still under warranty, it has the same looking hole on the top of the pump as well so no idea why its leaking. I DO have a video and i will post it in an hour or so.

Exactly, the timing was way retarded. We had an engine that had the cam broken in with the headers glowing from the timing being way retarded, it cooked the pistons and it blew the first night. You have to set the timing, don't let some dipshit tell you to run it out of time just for the break in period!

well i hope 6 minutes of it running like that didn't hurt it. We are going to take the water pump off tomorrow and look at it and if we can fix whats wrong with it then we're going to time it and then break it in.

6 min I'm sure your ok. The engine we had blow up was run for at least a half hour, I showed up at the shop and saw smoke rolling out the back of the car. They didn't notice the exhaust glowing because the door was open and the sun was shining on the motor. Just make sure you set the timing and you should be fine.
