Being sent to chico last min for work tomorrow. Driving up right now ( yea txtn and driving) wondering other than Sierra Nevada are there any good bars or restaurant's anyone recommends?

You gotta go to "the bear" by far my favorite bar there, not to mention they got some good burgers.

other bars to check out... normal street bar.

Theres another bar thats known for the "teas" long island, toyko etc etc.... they are hella good and cheap! I forget what its called though.

within the 6 square block downtown area there are over 15 bars, so i don't think you'll have an issue! Panamas is the place with the "Tea's"and they are awesome! the bear is a good place, Normal Street bar has the best jukebox, LeSalles has some good looking broads, Sierra Nevada brewery has gret food and great beer.

Yep definitely go to the Bear. when i went there during graduation weekend last spring the line was down the block but it moves quick. Good times to be had in chico... [patriot]

one of the newer bars is called the banshee and has a pretty good crowd and good music.
