Well my Dad is turning 50 and I've been lucky to have a Dad that does everything for his kid. I'm a couple years away from being 30 and he's still working the extra hours to help pay for post grad bills so I really owe it to him.

I know I can't give him what he wants most which is grandchildren so I have narrowed it down to:

1. Mint plates for his tri five registered and fees paid for. Who wouldn't want car parts.

2. Tix and RV rental to the Nascar weekend event at Sonoma or Fontana which is next year but he really likes Nascar.

3. Timepiece. A Panerai or Bell and Ross. He's worn nothing but the same Seiko for as long as I can remember and he deserves an upgrade.

4. Go in half and half for a decent Bass fishing boat.

Anything else that would be cool? He's basically likes cars and fishing.

My pops is about the same age and also is a big Nascar fan. That Nascar trip would be something to remember, but there's nothing like a nice Timepiece as well. If you go for the watch, have it engraved.

Good idea with the engraving I didn't think about that!

If he's a single dad I'd say some young piece of ass and if not a trip to the strip club [patriot]

Oh no my parents are married. It's just it's my pops birthday and he never asks or accept anything on a normal basis. He the complete opposite of me. I'd go to the strip club and he'd rather go fishing.

Get him a nice watch. I though about getting custom plates for my 93 cobra with my pops nick name since we built it together.

If he's a fishing guy and a Nascar guy, and has rocked a Seiko for years, I don't think a watch would guve him the same pleasure. He would probably like the trip and the RV, if you go with him.

Or whores.

I'm really on the fence about a nice watch. 5oh has a really good point... I think with the watch it's a luxury that I think he deserves and would really appreciate but not sure if it's something he would really love. But I would get it in an inhttp://www.californiafords.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=reply;f=1;t=038313stant if I could afford two.

The Rolex are Breitling are gorgeous but not my Dads taste. He really likes it simple, plain, and would really appreciate the movement of the Pan. The Bell and Ross I know he would wear everyday. What pieces do you have? I have a Navi World black face on SS Pro II bracelet.

The only thing about the bass fishing boat is that I won't be able to go very much but CalGT must be a fishing guy. Besides cruising, I don't think of a better way of spending an early Saturday morning. 6am is too early for whores.

I think it's between a watch or the bass boat. Thanks guys.
