for the last week i noticed that my car has been getting a lil hot its passed half way on my temp gage i have a 1990 fox 5.0 with no mods ex. a k&n airfilter and flowmasters (when im driving its a a lil over half way on my temp gage then when i turn my lights on it goes up a lil more what do you guys think it might bee ..

thermostat, radiator flush should be checked first.

what! There's another 90fox [Frown]

The temp gauge rising with the lights on is common. Every 5.0 I see does that. I heard it's because of a bad ground but I have not clue if that's right.

Check to see if anything is blocking the front of your radiator.

Yea, if you have pets fur can do it. One time I had this issue and it was fur. My dogs were kept in the garage with the car.

Also try the other stuff mentioned.

Or one thing everyone over looks is a radiator cap should change those every two years

change your fan clutch
 -

flush your Radiator
change your termostat
 -

if that dosent work then your gonna have to change the water pump
 -
