until you get the red ring! I swear, I've been so against getting one of these things its not even funny but with everyone saying how great they are I decided to break down and buy one. The first one would lock up, overheat and red ring so the guy traded me out for another. This one just did the E74 crap a while ago! I'm sick of this, why can I own a launch day PS3 and have ZERO problems but have 2 dying Xbox 360's in a month? Ok, I'm ranting, it just sucks having 40 games I can't play because Microsoft did a suck ass job building a game system..... shit.....

F that ive had my 360 for almost 4 years and i use it daily no overheating never had a red ring i even use it to watch movies and netflix instant ps3 sucks all about xbox live

I've had good luck with my lanch 60 gig ps3 I just don't see the reason why I would need a 360..... I know if I get one I'll love it untill it breaks on me

Yea I must say I had 2 die. But I have an extra one at all times. I just cant live without my 360, especially ODST comes out tomorrow. woohoo

I got this from another guy that mods and sells em. He gave me one under warranty already but damn, I'm sick of dealing with problems on this thing! Oh well, I'll spend the money I save on games buying new systems I guess.

ive had mine about 4 years and no problems. i have a fan running on mine all the time though. i think its a cheap insurance policy to run one. hope you get it fixed cause its the best to me i dont care for the ps3 at all.

I'm trying to find another case and I'm going to install a fan right above the CPU cooler to pull extra air in. I just don't want to hack up the only case I have. No matter what, there are fixes for it, I just hate going through all this crap every single time I want to play a game.

lmfao i had my 360 for like 2 years before any issues, lucky for me when i got the RROD i had a back up 360 to keep me busy until my main got fixed. Yea, 2 360s ftw!!!!!!!!!!

You. Know what I do?? Ok I buy new xbox360 then I switch the cover and remove the serial number really carefull then glue it.

5 days later go store..RETURN got your money back good luck..

I find it funny how all kinds of people say the 360 is better yet they have to ghetto rig fans and all kinds of crap to them to keep them working... I have my ps3 on a hardwood floor, with dogs that shed all year round( I haven't unpluged my ps3 and cleaned it in 2.5 years )

From a durability stand point ps3 ftw
Online play 360 ftw ( but you do pay for it )
Muti use ( DVD / blue ray / HD/ internet ) Tie IMO
Game quality (graphics , lode time , game titles ) 360 ftw

I have both systems. A 360 that I love to play because of Xbox live. In my opinion the games are way better and that is why I play the 360 more than the PS3. I have had the ring of death and it sucked to have to wait on the repairs. Plus they only gave me a one year warranty on it after they fixed it. On the flip side, I have a launch day PS3 that has never given me problems. The only problem I ever have is that it takes way too long for updates and downloads compared to Xbox. I mainly use the PS3 for the Bluray feature just for that reason. I also have a PC with the GTX 295 graphics card and I prefer the games on that more so than any console system. If you like FPS games try Battle Field 2; Project Reality. It is a free mod to the original game and it is bad ass. Good luck on your Xbox 360.
