It is definately a must do if you are into hiking. I ran about 5 miles of the trip. Couldn't run a lot of it due the grade thru the mist trail

Ive been to yosemite evry summer for 8yrs but i yet had the chance to climb half dome. its in all day if not 2 day hike. i climbed vernal falls and up more by yosemite falls. nxt time ill take on halfdome. how long did it tak you?

I've done that hike once too. it's definitely a must and probably something you will say once is enough! lol. I heard someone died going up the cables a few months ago. slid right off the edge

Half dome is a sweet hike, can be done in one day, i did it when i was nine, but didn't go up the cables my dad was too sketched to let me go up.

That looks like fun! I was supposed to go with some friends next weekend to hike that. MY roommate is training to climb el capitan in the next year or so.

Well I was warned of who to take with me for this hike because it was pretty rough if your not ready. But anyways I went for it and brought her she did bog me down and it took us 12 hrs round trip on what would have otherwise taken me about 9-10 hrs including time to take pictures and about an hr at the top of half dome.... but she kept at it and didn't complain.

We are already talking about our next hike.

I want to do this but the best time to do it is during the summer and that's when i am the busiest I can say i've hiked all over the Granite Chief Wilderness in the Tahoe National Forest though.
