Is anyone here a licensed smog tech? Id like some advice on what what it takes to get your license in CA. I would be considering this as a career change and business opportunity. Thanks in advance!

I believe that you should go a school with a good english program so you can stop writing that retarded short hand text. [Roll Eyes]

As for the question posed by the author of this thread, In my opinion, you would be foolish to consider a career change to the automotive service industry, but if you want to become a smog technician anyway, I would recommend attending a community college automotive program and not the ripp off private automotive trade schools like UTI and Waeo tech that turn out idiots.

Good luck.

U need to be ase certified in L1 and 1 of the A courses, not sure which 1. I have the books at home! Being a smog tech is easy money!

I believe cobraracer should proof read your post before you talk about someone's english [Roll Eyes] .

Anyways i believe the school he's talking about takes only a couple months to complete and is only a couple thousands dollars rather than go to college a waste 2 years to get something you can get in 2 or 3 months. [patriot]
