It is only pre-season, but from what I heard in their joint pratice. The 49ers defense ripped the Raiders apart. Russell threw 4 straight interceptions. The 49er Defense called it a "buffet of interceptions". Only the 1st quarter counts, but the last 3 quarters 2nd string & 3rd string players will be fighting for their lives.

I hope our running game looks that good when we play a real run defence. The score was close like always, but if you looks at the numbers, Niners owned the Raiders. Raiders had 4 attempts inside the 7 yard line from the Smith interception, BTW -Smith saved a TD with a great tackle, no score = long season.
We just showed the whole NFL, when you play the Raiders RUN,RUN,RUN! I believe that they were ranked 31st in the league last year for stopping the run, at least they are consistent at something.

i tried to stay outta this one, but when the cowboys vs raiders game was about to happen there was a lot of raider hate. even after the raiders whooped the cowboys it then became a "ITS JUST PRESEASON!" speech. then something about "Oh remember when the raiders won 4-0 in pre season, and had one of the worse records that yr." bus as soon as the niners win, pre season just became this big ol deal. now im not hating on the niners, coz i would love for them to win the NFC or even a super bowl, but lets just put a hold on the sh*t talking til after the regular season has started. The Raider nation is quiet because as soon as we say something theres always an excuse for something else.

Truth of the matter is both teams have a lot to improve in, its starting to look like.. we cant win the superbowl, but at least we beat the raiders type of deal. I would much rather lose to the niners and win the super bowl, then to focus on beating the niners and being nowhere near the playoffs. get it?

well from what I saw the 49ers looked like crap against SD today why did hill come out so early ? They gave up key yards in penalties with that loss they will be going into Arizona not wanting another ass kicking like that.
