If there is one guy in the music industry that you would try to avoid getting blasted buy it's Em. Either that or it's an excellent marketing ploy to generate sales.

Actually no, thats what the youtubers will say. You should listen to "Mariahs" track called "OBSESSED", she even made a music video of a guy dressed like Eminem.

Thats what she gets

His first song was based on something mariah had said in a tv interview or magazine. Basically denied even knowing him or something. He didnt go that hard on her IMO first time. But this one? Man. He went hard. Of all the rappers out there I wouldnt mess with Em or Beanie Seagal. B. Seag, would kill you in real life...lol. And eminem will assassinate you lyrically and make you wish you were dead. Eminem is by far one of my top 5 rappers. Dude spits and speaks his mind.

And the thing with Pac is that he keeps it real. He wasn't one of those rappers who just likes to beef over the tracks lol If he caught you in public, expect a confrontation.

People can't stand real folks, haters are always out to get real people. For Tupac, he was as realest as he gets, he was always out, kicking it, everywhere.. so he had lots of exposure in public unlike 99999.999% of all rappers out today hiding inside closets, their skirts, behind bodyguards [Smile]

Pac had humble beginnings as did everyone. But he always had the edge to him, plus being born into the black panther movement and that life made it even more valid. But that mofo did piss off a lot of people

It doesn't matter who can beat up who. They are in the music business. Like any business, it funnels down to making money. And celebrity fueds and disses bring in the dough. Nicely done Em.

Mariah should have never paid him any attention. Now the gasoline is on the fire and she can't win.

And who can forget this!

NO VASELINE!!!

In a lyrical battle Em will win hands down. That No Vaseline song is a all time great diss song. Ice Cube is a legend in the rap game. It's a shame he does not get the props he is due

I will say that Eminem went nuts on this track & he is by far the best out there at doing "Diss records". I can't believe some of you guys wanna hate on Em... Yeah, he does some stupid corny sh*t from time to time, but dude has major talent for real. Even though I don't dig all of his music, he is still 1 of the best to ever do it IMO...

Just my opinion. If we all liked the exact same stuff we wouldn't be individual. I don't like his voice, it's hella annoying and the way he puts his lyrics and spits them isn't something I like either. [dance]

eminem can spit theres a reason why this white boy gets so much love in the rap game.Bubba sparx fell off, paul wall is kool but not famous like eminem.em is consistent he been around and not to many rappers that ain't black get the fame and respect in the rap game like he does.So he doin something right the man is a lyical assassin. He is different like a comedy type rapper and people might not like his style but don't hate on his skills cuz he got it.

I completly agree, Eminem is sick as hell. I remember when i was into MC battling back in high school (late 90s and early 00s); i use to listen his tracks including other rappers but he was on top of my list.

He has skills, wordplay, metaphors and his rhyming ability is on point.

Haven't followed Em lately only cause his later stuff weren't up to par with his first 2 albums. But to answer these quotes, you most def. are entitled to your opinion.

Whether or not you really believe Jacka is better than Em, fact is Em has more clean bars/rhymes on half a verse than Jacka will in a whole song. As for Em putting lyrics together, his multiple syllable rhyme schemes NUMEROUS times on 1 line is way more complex to Jacka's simple 1 syllable rhyme pattern (on rare occasion, 2) and deserves more credit.. which he DOES and is also the main reason why people say the Bay Area has no lyricists. I fuck with both, but Em will just rap circles around Jacka.. and I'll put money he'd do the same to the Mob Figaz as a whole, bar for bar/line for line, no contest.. assuming he'd give them the shine and time.

I mean, if you could fade Jay-Z on his own track.. you've gotta be pretty damn good. [Wink] And this is coming from a fan of neither.

As for Em doing those bootsy songs.. that's part of being in the mainstream spotlight under a major label. He ALWAYS creates a buzz with a gimmicky type single before an album drops while the real stuff are somewhere in the album itself.. in return brings more sales and you have to admit that it works well for him.

You know damn well Def Jam isn't going to sign someone from the Bay during that day and age... Lock won that whole battle HANDS DOWN. Instead, they chose the "Philly Cat." Not cause he won the battle, but cause he's more marketable. Sad part is the dude who "won" the MTV Battle is just as under the spotlight as Lock is now. Wonder what happened with that.

He might hold his own, but I highly doubt Lock could fade Crooked I bar 4 bar!!

I mean, if you could fade Jay-Z on his own track.. you've gotta be pretty damn good. [Wink] And this is coming from a fan of neither.

As for Em doing those bootsy songs.. that's apart of being in the mainstream spotlight under a major label. He ALWAYS creates a buzz with a gimmicky type single before an album drops while the real stuff are somewhere in the album itself.. in return brings more sales and you have to admit that it works well for him.

Jacka could'nt carry Eminems microphone stand... much less out rap him.
hahahahahaha [worship] [worship] [worship]

Now our beloved bay area MC LOCKSMITH would tear both apart [Big Grin]

110% AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Locksmith- Rare Form
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DUOWECtzEI

He's killin 99.9999% of the shit that's out.. and I'm talking about the whole Hip Hop scene as a whole not just the Bay. The .0001% leftover is from them Slaughterhouse boys... NOBODY can touch em right now. [Wink]

WOWWWWWW, listen to that wordplay [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!] [worship]

Put him in the ring with any MC and watch him tear them apart lyrically.

Even though he lost the MTV battles (bullshit judges) but we all know he won [patriot]

Mr Boom Boom clap is up there too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3HS9SlYkOA) but i think Lock will get him..

Lets put Crooked I, YA BOY & Lock in a battle..

That'll be something [Whoo Whooooo!] [/QUOTE]

Ya Boy used to be more raw back in the Done Deal Ent. days.. now he only goes hard when he has a dope feature on the same track with him. But he is 10 times bigger than he was when he was still in the Bay.

[worship] Slaughterhouse > Any artist/group out right now PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Wh7u3UDz9k&feature=related

And I could see how you could compare Lock and Em's style.. but Locksmith always had the same flow even before the "Frontline- What Is It" days. It's just that you can't really "go in/hard" like that for a radio/album single like how he did on "Rare Form."
