Finally got one and I'm gettn familiar with it. But I hear stuff about rooting them and other tricks. Also there's soooooo many apps to download. Got any recommendations for good apps or upgrades?

Boooooo u guys. Haha

But yeah my buddy just got the 3Gs. I mean its cool but not really any faster. Better if it had a keyboard. Functionally the phones are different but the concept is the same.

Anyway though is there a way 2 get apps for free?

You go 2 the marketplace ans search for whatever apps u wantt, just make sure they say FREE! Cus some cost money....I have a G1 tooo.

i was a blackberry guy before the iphone, even when the craze hit i stuck with it. i held one once annnd i was hooked lol

to me its either BB or iphone, everything else to date has been a watered down iphone.

different strokes for different folks!!
