ps3 online play sucks an the controllers suck hand cramps after like 30 minutes of play only good thing about it is the blue ray

Overheated... definitely a warning sign that the RROD is coming... (Red Ring Of Death)

Don't be fooled that PS3 doesn't have technical issues... at least Microsoft knows the RROD issue and covers it for three years...

I have both the 360 Elite, and 80gig PS3... the PS3 has already died on me (got replaced by BestBuy, lucky i bought the warranty)

I wouldnt mod it if you play online. Plus I would not let anyone but MS fix it. Call them, after the big melt down of broke 360's they extended warranties and often make the fix for free. Also they give tips that may fix it without sending it in.

PS3 is only good for Blu-Ray and God of War 3.

Wait N8, you said not to modd it? I have a brand new sealed Elite 360 thats been sitting undearneath my bed past few days.

I was going to get this modded, i really dont have time to go out and buy games/rent games so i rather download the bish or copy it from friends.

I heard the new mod with is the iXtreme or something and its OK to be online with it?

Just go to best buy and buy a new one and and change the casings and return the bad one with the casing of the new one ..that's what me n my friend did..

Just call 1800 4My xbox and send it in to get fixed. And doing the mod thing is not worth it if you play online if you don't keep updating the software so they don't find out that xbox will be blocked permontly from live. But if you don't play live go for it [Wink]

and ive been playing online with my modded xbox for over a year.just dont play online with games that arent out yet.and make sure you get games from a reputable burner

The video chip on your motherboard overheated. What happens is that the video chip solder is a bit poor and the heat causes the chip to dislodge. Every fix out there is only temporary. It could last a few months, weeks or a year.

my buddies ps3 got 'the yellow light of death' a month ago, lost all his achievements/save games/everything, at least with an xbox red ring failure when microsoft fixes it, you keep your HD so all your shit doesn't vanish [Frown]

a couple people I know got hack and had there gamer tag and info taken. Hackers are scary on xbox live

That's a easy fix. Just take the x box apart( there's diagrams online) remove the cooling fan. Apply some really good arctic silver (not the cheap stuff). Put your xbox back together and your good.

i know of a guy in the San Jose area that modds &
fixes 360's. he can also fix anything for the ps3. i bought my sony with
a broken lensed for 50$ & the guy replaced it for 80.
he also can modd psp, wii, nintendo ds, x-box1, ps2. lol.
so anybody in the bayarea need a fix or a modd shoot me

Nope I know a couple of people who have been blacklisted with Modded xboxes and it not fun. Yea you can skate by for a while. But eventually everyone that I know that had a modded box has been caught. Well except one dude. But when he does he loses all that status and all that jazz.

Just putting it out there that i happens. I imagine more often you will not get caught. But if you do and you play heavily on line. You could lose a bunch of ranking and stuff. PLus not be able to play online with the 360
