Ha, I kid.
So I'm a noob to the site. I heard about it from the guys at AED in Cameron Park, so I thought I'd give it a go. Just a quick intro.

I've got a few Fords now and have owned a few in the past. I've been a blue oval die hard since I was a kid. My old man always had a classic Mustang around growing up. I love modifying, driving, and racing my Mustangs more than just about anything. I live in Natomas and work in Colusa, so I get a whole lot of drive time on a daily basis. So having something fun for the commute has always been of paramount importance. [Smile]

Anyway, I won't go through the typical mod list run down or bore you all with anymore details about me. I'm more than happy to find a local, online community of fellow enthusiasts, however, and look forward to getting to know some of you guys. Any questions about me, feel free to ask, otherwise I'll be spending some more time browsing through the old posts.

Ken

Thanks again fellas. I've got lots of pics yeah.
Here's what my 08 SGT looks like.

This was taken last week after installing the new Paxton.

The background on this has been photoshopped, so that the car sticks out a little more. It was taken at Thunderhill.

[Smile] Thanks man. It's still not quite done. I've got another couple weeks of work left to do, but it's come a long way from how it looked nearly 2 years ago when I first picked it up.

Nice it's a stick to.... Is it a 4spd? Or did you go with a 5-6spd swap? (nice to see another nice old school on here)

[Whoo Whooooo!] [Cool]

Yes sir, original 4 speed toploader. I rebuilt it myself actually (first rebuild I've ever attempted).
Going with a 5 speed would have been a lot easier in hindsight (issues with mechanical linkage clearing steering rack and long tubes), but I think I'll be pretty happy with the old school feel of the 4 speed when all is said and done. [Cool]
