Here she is... all cleaned up and sitting pretty! She's a 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP... 6 speed manual, one of 169 in this color out of the 1829 produced.

I got the exhaust done today as well. Its a custom Magnaflow axle back that I plan to build on later when I add some Kooks headers and an X pipe. I went with a different style tip since I don't like the duals and I really like how it turned out. Enjoy!

Holy shit that looks good, I hadn't seen a G8 GXP in that color before. Congrats man, making me rethink getting a 335i!

Dealer badge is gone now. It will eventually find its way to the track but I want to get a few more mods in place first.

Thanks. The GXP's run the 6.2L LS3 from the Corvette... same as the new Camaro but 415hp in this car. You can also get a 6 speed manual (like mine) but they're hard to find. The GXP has different front and rear fascias, different interior, better suspension, 19" wheels, Brembo brakes, and a bunch of other stuff.

Yep. They were the closest dealer that had a 6 speed manual and were willing to deal on the price a little. Most dealers laughed when I asked and told me there was a $5K mark up.

They already halted the production line so there are fewer than 200 new ones still available.

I completely agree with you on all accounts. Its faster than my old Mach 1 (even stock) and easily holds two car seats.

Faster than the Mach, Im sure it is... Lets race LOL.. JK...That car will probably spank my Mach...

So what are the plans for it? The stock wheels are very nice, but the only thing I don't like is that they are very narrow... Does the car have factory HID's?

The car does have HID's. I plan on finishing off the exhaust with a set of Kooks mid length headers, high flow cats, and a X pipe. I have a ram air intake coming. It will get a tune but I'm not sure which yet. Beyond that, maybe a camshaft down the road aways. I will probably throw a set of H&R's on the car as well.

Thanks guys! Today is the first day that I've leaned on it pretty good a couple times. I'm impressed with how well it puts the power down. This car really moves!
