Rasheed just signed with Boston. A health KG, Allen, Pierce, Rondo....Just wow. I really hate being a piston fan right about now.

But yea we now have 5 guards, 4 small forwards, a little power forward, 1 true weak center, 1 true questionable power forward. We went from a Eastern Conference beast to the East version of the warriors in like one season. I dont think we will be .500 next season.

Man I been a Piston fan since before the "Bad Boys", so I have been through 2 painful rebuilds after great seasons. But this one hurts worse because all we had to do was wait out one more season and we could have made some serious noise in the free agent market. But noooOOOooo, we lost Billups, we lost Sheed, and my bet is we are gonna lose Rip which in turn will make McDyess not wanna stay. Our bread and butter has always been chemistry, not having the best athletes. And that is all fucked up now. The Pistons never ever made a name off of having the best athletes. Shit in the late 80's we put a hurtin on the Bulls and the Lakers with a balanced, physical attack same in 04. Now they wanna abandon that and try to stack big names and big contracts on the books.

Perkins = Bynum
KG > Gasol
Pierce > Artest
Rondo < Fisher
Allen < KOBE

BOS Bench/Sheed <<<<< LAL Bench/Odom

The way I see it, barring injuries, both teams basically have juggernaut starting 5s..

But Lakers' X-Factor will be Odom and their bench. Aside from Da Black Mamba, Lakers' bench give them the advantage.

Should be a fun NBA season.

I wouldn't place money on that outcome...lol. I honestly think Boston is a much better team with Sheed. Better than the Lakers.
