Last night I went out with a few friends from work. All Females since I am a nurse. I ended up being designated Dave for the night and 2 of the girls got wasted. Well, I drove my mustang and on the way back into Oakland after the club let out, we were driving over the bridge and my tire blew as I was passing CHP which was parked on the Oakland side of the bridge. I tried to make it onto 880 or 580, but it wasn't happening. I flipped my hazards and pulled over. I tried to change my tire as fast as possible because CHP will check us out if your pulled to the side. Well, I wasn't fast enough and here comes CHP. I was a little nervous because I had a shot before we left the house and a drink and a half plus a couple of sips of other peoples drink at the club. I don't know what 0.08 feels like, but I do know 2 drinks is about the max and still be safe for guy of my stature. Well I went a little over that so I was a [s]little[/s] Hella paranoid. The funny part was 3 cops, which looked all under the age of 30 got out of one cop car. LOL. Dude starts asking me hella questions and I know he can smell the alcohol on my breath. He ask for my DL, so I flash my Military ID and hand him my DL. He ask me to place my glasses in my pocket and as I was doing so, I missed and dropped them on the ground. LOL. I'm like damn, this dude is really going to think I'm drunk. Then he starts asking me questions on "how hammered am I on a scale of 1-10". I'm like "I'm not hammered." He was like "just pretending how much would you be." I replied, "0". Then he said, "come on, you're little hammered, how much". I replied, "I'm not hammered." So then he goes on to asking how many drinks have I had, where and when. I replied with 2, 1 before the club at the house and 1 after the club. Mind you that while all of this is going on, the 2 girls in my car are wasted. 1 girl got out and pissed on the side of the freeway in front of the cops. I'm lookin at this like I'm really about to go to jail tonight. Then a tow truck rolls up. I'm like they are about to tow my car. They ask the same questions to my not so wasted passenger about me and thankfully she responded with the same answer I gave them. Next, I start my sobriety test. They made me stand on one foot and look at the other foot in the air and count. I made it to 25 before they said stop. Next they made me close my eyes, tilt my head back and est. 30 seconds. I counted to 30 and opened my eyes. These test were easy and I passed with flying colors. Last came the Breathalyzer test. I don't know how it works so I didn't know what to do to cheat the system. So I just followed their directions. well sorta, They told me to blow hard, so I blew soft for the 1st half of my breath then blew long and hard for the 2nd half. I used to be in band and I ran track too, so I had a lot of air to give them. I don't know what I blew, didn't want to ask. The tow truck guy changed my tire for me in a flash. The 3 cops in one cop car left and I was on my way home. What a night.

good shit i had a similar incident cinco de mayo i was shitting bricks but i didnt have nothing to drink everyone else in the car was drunk. at least u got home, ca fords would of made shirts that said FREE ROY on the back haha so wat happend with the drunk beezzys?

I wouldn't say I got out of one, because I don't think I over the limit. But if I did, then thanks.

Hey, nurses drink too. Just don't get one while they're drinking on the job. LOL

That's nuts. I can't believe one of the girls was pissing on the freeway in front of the cops!!! And those sobriety tests sound difficult to pass stone sober.

LOL, they were probably poppin pills. Naw, those was some cool cops. Not because i didn't get a ticket for anything, but because they did thier job without being a dick in the process.

Even though you can sorta delay by opting for the blood test, the alcohol level in your blood won't decrease in the ~30 minutes difference between the breath option and the blood test.

Plus I think if you opt for the blood test, they treat you a little worse cause they're assuming you're hammered anyway.
