im going to start welding up the holes in my engine bay tomorow . i just want to see what people have done on here and some finish products . ill post pics of my progress

when i go to work tomorrow i will take a picture of the engine bay of one of the cars we are building. it has the engine out and you can see what we welded up

not done yet, but all the accessories are silver, while all brackets are black, I've painted the procharger bracket since these pics but haven't taken any pictures since, too busy working on getting it finished [Smile]

This is from the corral as well, a guy named FastGT94. Definitely the cleanest and simplest engine bay I've seen in a while. Maybe it'll give you some ideas:

i took all the wires off and started re-routing them umder the fender. im going to grind all this surface rust off tomorow . im hoping to get a welder tomorow

Take your time on it and keep the original shape of the inner fenders. It's gonna look so much better when it's done you're gonna be happy. Oh and you might always want to look into boxing in that frame rail. post up progress pics too. Everytime I look at my engine it makes me want to do this

I just ran all the wires under the driver side fender. I'm happy I didn't have to cut any wires . I'll take pics tomorow with a better camera

im not sure abt the color yet thats were im stuck on yes all the wires are behing the fenders n in running a stand alone harnees way esier without the fenders n front clip

Yea my verts already done but my coupe has the wires hidden but engine bay looks bad so I think will shave that one too and want the car back to the original black color since it's a old chp car

i started it i got fed up with it and just pay someone $600 they welded the panels and finish all the sanding and primered n it took him abt 3 days abt 10 to 15 hours total not bad

Well Guys im bringing this thread back from the dead... I didnt do much on my gt's engine bay and now im trying to get it painted and drop my engine finished before knotts.
