I work at SOlyndra in Fremont and I have seen a lot of new people lately. I think they still need some people cause I see they are still double shifting people. Try calling west valley staffing at (408) 735-1420 and ask them if they are taking apps for Solyndra.

Try again! If not hit up CL jobs or go to a temp agency. If you are a good, hard worker, you will get picked up by someone.
From your short post, I cant tell if you have any specific skills, but I can say I know a lot of companies hire good temps as full time employees.
Not to be a dick, but I dont really see how you cant find SOMETHING out there right now. There are still tons of places hiring and if you take it seriously, you can find one. My suggestion is to be willing to work EARLY hours and the obvious dress nice for the interview crap. There is always something out there so just keep searching and be PERSISTENT. Fill out the app/ turn in resume, but make sure you turn it in to a manager. Turning a resume over to lower employees leaves no impression whatsoever, so you are just wasting time there. When you turn them in, make a good first impression and get the managers contact info. Then FOLLOW UP within about 3-5 days. If nothing happens, follow up again after another 5 days. Worst case scenario, you dont get the job, so it can really only help you. [patriot]
