I read something this morning that said he is thinking about going into boxing or doing MMA in Japan or something. I know a lot of people here dont like him, but I think he would be a beast in the boxing ring. I always said he had the mannerism and movements of a natural boxer. I still think he could be a capable mma cat, but it seems strikers (I think they are called that) do not fare to well in MMA.

slice is known for one hitter quiters. i dont think he has the cardio to last full 5-5 min rounds in the MMA. let alone boxiing. i could happen though. i can see him jumping into that someday. just gonna be lots of trianing ahead of him.

The current state of the Heavy weight division in boxing, I can see him getting fast tracked to a title shot. Hell David Haye (cruiserweight) is fight one of the Klitchkos for the Heavyweight crown. Hell that can easily be Kimbo. I think the dude is a pure bred athlete. And he has a very destructive talent [patriot]

Kimbo is garbage..he has no chance against real fighters..randy couture for example ..would have made that man look like a toddler..he juss has street fighting ability..but in mma u need to b a real fighter..- guarentee u anderson silva would DOGG his big ass..

i think he might have a chance in something like K1 simply because he wont have to worry about any jits skills at all. definetly needs the cardio though

I dont know a lot about MMA, but I do know boxing. And boxing is less of a circus atmosphere like MMA. But he has some very good natural boxing attributes. His punches are very accurate. Tremendous power as we know. Good balance and is hella strong. And the one thing I notice about him, is he does not blink or flinch when being hit. Very hard to teach that, when you are throwing a punch and your opponent lands one while yours in enroute, to not pull yours back. He is very good at that.

I dunno man, I think the dude is a pure athlete, rough around the edges and MMA mishandled him IMO. But still a athlete.

this dude aint no athelete bro..hes a street brawler..if u c his internet fights he fought a bunch of fat dudes and knocked em out except for the first one he did ..in mma he fought a 40 somethng year old abbot..he couldnt even go 3 rounds ..he will get killed in boxing..boxing is boring and one dimensional ..but still this dude needs to juss stick to internet fights...and leave the real fighting to REAL atheletes..

oo yea and the one dude thaty he fought that he couldnt beat was that boston cop..that he fought for like 10 minutes..and at the end he was falling all over the place..and the other dude wwas juss abig fuk that didnt even have technique.....he needs to quit it..and go back to doing security for the reality kings...(porno dudes) haha

Then thats a slap to all of the "Ultimate Fighter" series contestants. Obviously Dana White checked his records and made sure he was capable of being in the ring.

For gods sake, Kimbo is STILL training and hanging out with all of the famous heads out there, Joe Rogan, Goldberg etc etc How many "youtube street brawlers" do you see have an entourage of that?

Dude has a talent, practice makes perfect.

From what it appears that he came from, I think he could care less as long as the money is right.

He has certainly made more money off of fighting than I have.

I would challenge any CAFORDS registered member to prove that they have made more money off of fighting than he has.

You either LOVE or HATE Kimbo, kinda like lamb meat.......

Kimbo would get worked by any c+ heavyweight. If he was put on queer street by that soft ass seth petruzilli guy could you imagine what even a has been boxer like David Tua would do to him? Kimbo is just a side show. he has no real future in boxing. I think even old ass Holyfield would put him to sleep with ease

I am not saying immediately throw him in the ring with anyone of consequence. But he has natural boxing ability, I can see several good qualities in him. And what he does is not easy by a stretch. Fighting in any capacity is not easy. And even against a gas station attendant, he still won consistently enough to where I would not bet against nor fight him (unless I had to).

Lets put it this way, if I were managing his boxing career and could pick his training and boxing path. I guarantee I can make some people eat their words. But for once I agree with FR, he was a gimmick for the MMA crowd and it was successful. And Kimbo got paid for it handsomely. boxing is different tho, not so much about freak shows.

I say put him in the ring and see what happens... He is a natural street fighter he can put people to sleep, but I think he might be out of his league with this one just my .02
