This guy sells rebuilt ford transmissions out of Oakley, his name is Chris 925 848-6664 he gives you a one year warrenty on a pos tranny, I paid him $800.00 for a rebuilt e4od for my 91 Bronco I drove about 100 miles and lost all forward gears, this guy flakes every time I talk to him, he wont give me my money back or replace the transmission. I would take him to court, but is it worth all the hassle?? EVERYBODY PLEASE CALL THIS GUY AND GIVE HIM SHIT AND BLACKBALL HIM FROM SELLING TRANSMISSIONS EVERYWHERE (Chris's Mobile Repair in Oakley (925) 848-6664 Thank you

Um, Bureau of Automotive repair. If he's licenced, they'll handle it for you. If he's not licenced, they'll handle it for you AND turn his ass into the tax board for working under the table. It's a no-no to fix cars for money in this state without a licence.

Wish I had read this before dealing with him! I gave him my parts and a down payment and now am having a terrible time getting it back. Trying to convince him to at least give me the parts so I don't have a half a truck sitting in my driveway. I have his address but he is rarely there and I can't afford to spend countless hours being private investigator.

Did you manage to get anything from him? Do you want to work together to turn up the heat on him?

He lives on the northwest end of portsmouth st in Oakley, there's an F450 utility truck with an american flag parked in the driveway. Return your defective transmission... through the window!

just give him a call from another phone (different number) and set something up to pickup a transmission from him [Wink]

edit - remember to bring some good friends to "inspect" the transmission [Wink]
