Last week he helped me and my dad install my TKO600 in my Fastback. He mentioned the idea of going to solid engine mounts instead of the stock rubber ones i had in it and making the mounts ourselves so we could lower the engine more. Well i said its a good idea and asked him to help my dad do it (i just got out of the fire academy yesterday so i wasn't around to help)
Well about an hour ago me and my dad mounted the new mounts in. The engine is an inch and a half lower so my hood will probably fit over the valve covers now. He also helped my dad make a transmission mount as well.
Heres some pictures
Thanks John!

it must be killing you not to have ready for this summer as you planned, the wait will definitely be worth it though.

yeah more feel of the engine, less torquing of the engine from side to side.

just the basic front/mid plate aluminum & steel, to eliminate mounts altogether! great for header clearance and motor swaps etc etc..... just another route...
