Nice collection. I'd really, really love to have an AR-15. I got to shoot one (9mm) in Florida a few years back and it was the sweetest shooting rifle I've ever used.

I've been getting into guns recently too. I only have one right now, a Sig P226 .40 cal, but I plan to grow my collection soon with a revolver and a rifle. Nice collection!

More power to you if this is your hobby, but I just don't see the need to have all of these weapons. The majority of my family is or has been in law enforcement and they don't even own that many guns single handedly.

I think Maeco said this was three different peoples weapons.

I have more guns then that on my own and I have them solely for two reasons and two reasons alone

1. Fun - Nothing funner then plinking away with an AR15 at the range.

2. Self Preservation - In case of robbery, home invasion, civil war, terrorism or aliens...

Anyways, the question should not be why own that many guns, it should be why not. As any boy scout will tell you:

Be prepared.

For those who ask the question" why do you need so many weapons?" the answer is in his post. HOBBY. Nobody seems to question Jay Leno "why do you need so many cars?" But just because its a firearm people have to chime in with why why why. And just because someone's career puts them in direct contact with firearms on a daily basis does'nt mean that they should own a truck load of them. A firearm of ANY kind is just like a car. They all have characteristics that make them fire diffrent than another. And I don't give 2 shits on how they resemble the exact weapons that our military is carrying to defend our country. If he had a grenade on the hood I'd feel a little concerned. Some people collect GAY porn. I don't question it. It's not my cup of tea. Keep on collecting! Weapons that is!

i was just kidding about the airsoft joke. Its just that you said you found a new hobby, like you found it yesterday or something then i see 4 pistols, 2 pumps and a couple semis, im thinkin, damn this guys crazy!

and to the cop with no guns analogy: just because I do air conditioning doesn't mean I have 4 air conditioners in my back yard. The most i've had is 3.

boy for those who are just getting in to the HOBBY that is a awesome start for three new people to be getting into a new HOBBY that is awesome hate to hear what the haters would say if they saw my collection of the HOBBY of shooting.most people do not relize how expensive the HOBBY of shooting really is.how about 3 to 5 hundrerd dollars of ammo every time i go out to enjoy the HOBBY.

shooting is my main hobby now. Instead of what performance part should I buy for my car its what gun do I want next?!

Then your buying scopes, extra mags, gun cases,
Cleaning supplies, holsters, upgraded sights, etc.

Have fun and shoot SAFELY!
