Just wondering if any of you here have had any french Bulldogs or have any now.

Questions
1. How are they with small Children? I have a 13 month old girl and would hate to have to snap some dogs neck for bitting my kid. I also have a 7 year old boy wich I am not terribly worried about around a smaller dog.

2. How are they with other dogs? I have a male Minature schnauzer(Otto) and he is a great dog and gets along well with my sisters dogs, my moms dog, and my GF's parents dogs. Just wondering if getting a boy or getting a girl would be better?

3. How are they about house manners, training and just chewing and destroying shit? Otto my schnauzer is great about not tearing shit up and not pissing on everything.

Any other tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help Guys. [patriot]

ive got an american bulldog and from what ive heard theyre pretty similar very good temperments and sweet as can be

I you get one, let me know Buddy.
That's the breed the wife & I have been thinking about getting.

Mello dogs (they get tired fast). Good temperment.
Good with kids & other pets. Minimum space requirements & minimum maintainance.

Expensive bugars though...

Sure will man, Otto was pretty expensive too cause he is pure bread. Was thinking about getting him a friend. And I don't want a very large dog or a very small one either.

I know a couple people that have those. They are somewhat fickle.

First, they can't be outdoors or hot/humid weather, or swim good, and can be lazy to hyperactive in a switch like when new people come over. They need constant attention otherwise they tear shit up and definitely need walks a couple times a week.

My friend spayed his then it really calmed down. They don't really bark alot either. Imagine an English bulldog toned down a couple notches..
