You wanna turn it in to a race thing.... I went golfing in last week here in Vallejo. I played with 3 black guys I didn't know... None of us knew eachother.. I had my work shirt on that had my name on it... But one of the guys decided to change my name to Paul (for Paul bunion, I assume because I had a fat ass beard and needed to shave)

that should be the end of the story but it gets better... I hit some bad shots and wasn't on my game... They started to mock me because I said I wasn't playing like myself. It gets better, we went ahead and let a group go in front of us they were also black... They said thanks for letting us play through not to me but gave the guys I was playing with daps... Looked over at me and walked off. I never have done that to anyone I try not to judge anyone and I wish people didn't ack that way

so even white guys get it to so I hate when people play the race card.

This news story is a little miss leading. The point is the Cop witnessed a driver running a red light then failed to yield. How the fuck is he supposed to know the people are rushing to the hospital? Are cops suposed to be mind readers now? They are people just like you and I. They took a job to protect and serve the people. Now they have delt and seen every low life piece of shit out there time and time again breaking the laws. If I was a cop you would bet your ass I would not take any situation for granted.

Yea, but when your in front of the hospital, and the nurse is outside telling the cop whats going on, he still didn't let him go. What if that was your mother-in-law or family and they passed before you could see them because a cop was holding you up after he was explained the situation.

I just seen the video on espn, and it damn near made me sick to my stomach how that man was treated. He and the nurses and the other officer was beging, pleading with the officer, and the ticket was still giving as the officer took his time and threatened to take him to jail and tow his car. And for everyone saying it was just cause, the officer is suspended and the dallas police issued a apology and dismissed the ticket. So for everyone that don't understand why people don't respect police and that don't believe police actually harass people open your eyes, here's your proof.

I don't think waiting and mnaking sure the intersection is clear as total disregard... Also i swear police run through lights all the time, just because. Also, we the taxpayers pay the police to protect and serve. Serving the community is not harassing a guy after you know for sure his mother in law is dying.

Sometimes there are excuseable reasons for traffic violations, this is one of them

I have not seen the Video yet. But yes a criminal would never think about trying to ditch a cop buy going into a hospital you people that are that ignorant should never be cops. Some would cut there own mother's throat to get away.

Obviously if they suspended him the cop took it a little to far, but he didn't shot or arrest anybody.

What i don't understand is why they were just going to the hospital. Did they just find out she had cancer all of a sudden? If one of my loved ones pretty much on their death bed i wouldn't leave the hospital.

As far as the cops messing with people. I've never been given a ticket i didn't deserve. I'm mexican i've driven loud, flashy cars thru out the bay. Only been pulled over because i deserved it.

I did not realize he didn't yield for that long. Thats was a full on police pursuit. The cop let the lady go after a very short time. If the guy would of spent less time arguing and give the cop what he needed The situation would of lasted half as long. The whole thing is very sad to say the least. I can not beleave they suspended the cop. Trying to do a little ass kissing PR in the media. There really is no reason to drive that way to the hospital it would of taken him maybe a minute or two longer to get there the right way. instead he was detained for 8 minutes. How much time did he really save.

Ok cry babies here you go.
I was in a very simular situation. I was the passanger not the driver. We were rushing a friend to the ER room at the hospital. He had a seziure apeared to stop breathing. We ran stoplights speed and ended up at the ER room enterance with 3 cops in tow. I am white, the driver is white,cops were white. My friend got a speeding ticket even after we explained things. I go to court with him to pleed his case. White judge (so we had the whole white advatage going ) All the DA said was there is no excuse for speeding period unless you are a emergancy vehical(that is really all he said). End of case. I think my friend got a slightly reduced fine. My friend was OK the one who had the siezure. So I have rushed to the hospital with a person we thought was dying,got pulled over at the ER entrance becuase we also didn't stop. Got a ticket, and found guilty. But we did not play for the NFL(I think it was poor coaching lol)so no cop got suspended or tickets got dropped. How green am I again ? OH BTW the cops were not very friendly to use at the hospital they were all pretty pissed.

We ran stoplights speed and ended up at the ER room enterance with 3 cops in tow. I am white, the driver is white,cops were white. My friend got a speeding ticket even after we explained things. I go to court with him to pleed his case. White judge (so we had the whole white advatage going ) All the DA said was there is no excuse for speeding period unless you are a emergancy vehical(that is really all he said). End of case. I think my friend got a slightly reduced fine. My friend was OK the one who had the siezure. So I have rushed to the hospital with a person we thought was dying,got pulled over at the ER entrance becuase we also didn't stop. Got a ticket, and found guilty. But we did not play for the NFL(I think it was poor coaching lol)so no cop got suspended or tickets got dropped. How green am I again ? OH BTW the cops were not very friendly to use at the hospital they were all pretty pissed.

if u "look" a certain way - you have a much greater chance of gettng pulled over - and possibly harrased. i fully agree with. Im White skinned (mexican/irish) but im 6'3, 250Lbs and for the most part always have a shaved head. Ive been pulled over and fucked with before when following the law for no aparent reason by white, black, etc officers. A few times at bars ive been too when fights have broken out, after cops arrive even when my bartender buds and friends say i wasnt part of it ive been pulled aside and questioned with the dumb fu**s that were involved just cuz i "look" like i coulda been involved.
My point though is to say EVERYONE gets messed with and harassed... some more than others, but saying us white(skinned) people dont know what its like to be messed with like non-white people is WAY off. JMO. -Joe

If I only knew what? Lifes about choices, to many people just feel sorry for themselves and blame the cops, i get pulled over and get tickets and its because i broke the law.
