FINALLY got the deep dish 10th anniversary replicas mounted up on the Notch last night...
It was a long time coming, but well worth it. As u can see, I also did a 5 lug swap, Cobra brakes, Bilstein's, & 3.73's @ the same time... Huge thanks to Mitch, StreakMatt, Jerry, & Juan for all the help!!!

Damn, that looks pretty hawt. How did you manage to find those style KDW's? Those are hard to find now since they haven't made them in a while.

3.73's install....
Old vs. New....
freshly painted rear end with 3.73's & Bilstein's going in...
95 spindles, Cobra brakes, & Bilstein struts...

Thanks fellas!!!
John, I appreciate the great deal on the front tires!!!
Jason, I wish I could've had you help too, but since I was slapping the rear end in the car over at Matt's, it just made more sense to do it all in 1 sitting... If Mitch doesn't end up taking the front end parts, u can have em... He basically did most of the install, so I owe him....

what did you do about the 2-3 port conversion or did you not need to do that?
also, what did you use to keep the safety brake cable for the rear?

Thanks Mike... Im still running drums in the rear. I picked up a 93 Cobra booster, but haven't installed it yet because I don't have an MC yet...

I haven't messed with any of that yet J, but I do need to upgrade the booster & MC soon because the pedal doesn't feel right at all.... Not sure exactly what Mitch had to do to get the e brake cables to work, but they do work....

Looks really good. What are the wheel sizes and backspace? Which axles did you use in the rear? Any probs with rubbing? I'm researching so I know what will fit on my coupe. Thanks.

looks good i love a white notch with some anniversary's especially deep dish.
Posted by EPIK (Member # 7481) on

Thanks again fellas...
Triple Black Hatch, I used high temp engine paint in low gloss black, but I ran out of paint. My buddy had a few cans of Satin Black trim paint & I used that on top of the high temp paint...
DRIVINFST, the wheels are 17X9 (20mm offset) & 17X10 (24mm offset), & the tires are 255/40/17 BFG KDW2s' (new tread) up front, & 275/40/17 BFG KDW's (old tread) out back... I used fox length axles from an older ranger...
I dont have any rubbing problems, but that's because I had the fender lips rolled, I beat in & rolled the inner fenders with a sledge hammer, & I had to remove the quad shocks because they were hitting the inner barrel of the wheels, even when I tried to flip them around....

VERY NICE notch I like those wheels.
You'll be much happier with the brake pedel feel after installing the booster and a decent MC.

Thanks bro...
You wouldnt happen to have a booster for sale would you?? Will the 94/95 GT & V6 MC work with the 93 Cobra booster?
Posted by Luke87GT (Member # 21) on
:
Yo EPIK, yes the GT/V6 MC will work w/ the 93 cobra booster.
So did the gears wake the motor up?

That would be sweet... Im not too sure what it will run, & I still need to get my feet wet with this car @ the track, so I doubt I will be launching @6K or powershifting, but I will work my way up to that....

Hey I forgot about you putting the bigger Cobra brakes on the front, that means no skinnies up front unless you can get them to fit with a spacer ...That drops your ET to 12.35@109 ..
