On the way home from 24 hour fitness I needed to get gas for my truck. I pulled into the Valero on fulton/arden and see a red fox gt. Decide to gas up by him and look at his car. Anyways he says he just finished a modular swap. I had no clue people were even doing this. It had a 04 cobra motor with the t-56 6 speed.

Does anyone know who this guy is? I never got his name but his ride was definitely bad ass. Looked like he was hispanic.

Never seen that one around here before. Sounds interesting. Did you ask if he's from the area?

That would be my dream car. Someday a coupe with a full 04 Cobra drivetrain.

ppl have done that swap but its a pain in the ass doing it vs doing a swap on a obd2 where u can reuse your computer and harness.
never seen one in the bay but u do come across them in other states from time to time.

One of my buddies did a 97 Cobra interior and drive train to a 87 GT. It came out good but there was a couple problem the security system he had to take it to Ford and they fixed it. When he put long tubes on it, it took him two days that is a PITA. It was fast it hung with my friends H/C/I fox.
