Yup, 28.5 Million and worth every penny!! Unlike good old Alex Smith just makin that big money sittin on the sidelines. RAIDER NATION!!!

if anyone is worth it he is! its 28mil guaranteed, 45 mil for a 3yr deal. and the 3rd yr is a team option where if the raiders pick it up yr 3, all of that year's salary is all guaranteed. Plus they cannot franchise tag him when the deal expires! hell of a deal for him! no one has ever got a contract like this in football . I know he wanted out of oakland originally earlier this year but shoot he'd be nuts to turn that deal down

And i know Lechler is tight, the best punter in the league imo but 4 mill a yr! thats insane, they could have got him for an easy 1.5 less . He is getting double the amount of the previous highest paid punter /yr [Eek!]

yup, the raiders HAD to sign him and lechler... they have been just some of the bright spots for the raiders. shit, take the $$$ while al davis is giving it out!! Go RAIDERS!!!!

yup finally al davis is paying players that deserve the $$$$$$$ nhamdi and lechler are worth every $$$$.He is clearly the most dominating corner in todays game.Teams do not throw his way.

Al Davis has always been willing to pay, it's his decision making thats questionable; this in terms of team management. He never lets coaches coach. I don't think the Raiders even have a GM. And if they do, I guarantee he has no control over team management.
