So i just got a new full suspension. Got a super good deal on an Iron Horse MKIII online. Just got it put together and tuned up today. Haven't even taken it out on any trails yet but hopefully I will soon. It's got 5" of travel front and rear, Avid juicy 5 hydraulic disc brakes 7" rotor in the front and 6" rotor in the rear and weighs just under 30lbs so it'll be a decent all mountain bike.
Since I got the new full suspension I converted my old hardtail to a singlespeed weighing in at under 25lbs with my old and heavy shimano clipless pedals. It should be fun up at fremont older and santa teresa and then for the more technical steeper stuff I'll have the F/S

Nice Downhill DLo where do you ride at? I'm not too much into the extreme downhill stuff but I'd still like to go up to northstar next summer and check it out, especially now that I have a decent travel FS bike

I used to ride at Belmont, Pacifica, and Santa Cruz. Northstar is awesome, there's no such thing as uphill Highly recommend renting one of their bikes so you don't beat up yours, they've got nice rentals anyway.

Right here. I ride a 05 canon prophet 800.
Favorite trails so far is saratoga gap and demo forest.
Santa theresa is nice, but it gets really dry and hot out there, not enough tree cover.
Arastradero in palo alto is a nice little trail with a couple of big bowls to play around in.

Hey chris, whats up man?? haven't seen you in a while! we should go riding some time.
I just went for a short ride today in los gatos. i LOVE the new bike! aside from a few minor adjustments to the rear derailleur it was awesome. Definitely nice to have a rear shock too

its a 59cm. it was nice but I had to let it go.
I think i'm gonna get some white weinmann deep V's for the peugeot and a new seat and it should look pretty good. The bike holds some sentimental value to me because it was my mom's frame. (and she died when i was 9)
