Being these places mark their shit up like 200% I wasn't even thinking of looking at jewelery this year. But about a month ago the wife lost her diamond out of her wedding ring. Last night I picked up a whole new ring, 24 carat white gold half carat princess cut diamond, brilliant clarity, whatever the F that means for $600 out the door. They are only open for two more days if your thinking of buying anything like that this year. They "claim" the original price was $2,769 for the ring. I had them give me the original manufacturers price tag showing this price so I could provide it to my home owners insurance. I don't care how much they marked it up $600 is nothing compaired to what I paid for a smaller diamond when we got married lol.

the clarity and the color of the stone make a huge difference on the price. what are the specs on your princess cut?

There was a bunch of letters and numbers on little spec page. I remember E was like the color or grade and se1 or it might have said si1 for something else. I don't know anything about that stuff really. It just looked sparkly and clearer than other rings that were in the case. Some were yellowish. Perked my interest though, I'll be looking it all up online when I get home.
