A very very good friend of mine just died last night, Driving home from the bar in his chevy 2 nova with about 650 hp. lost control of the car hit two trees an was ejected...... He was paralyzed years ago an the car was fully hand controled. Rest in peace Christopher Marks.

damn sorry to hear that.i hate to hear things like this around the holidays.not that it makes it any better when its not but adds alot of unwanted stress.i lost my dad around the holidays of 04 so my heart goes out to you and the family big time...REST IN PEACE

More news... Witness said he was going about 75 mph an lost control hit the first tree with the back of the car hit the second tree wich ejected him an was gone before the ambulance got there.

very sad news RIP. It appears that the guy was an auto enthusiast but, I think driving a 650hp car while being paralyzed isnt safe, no matter how the car is rigged up as to being hand controlled...

Dam ya I seen the guy quite a bit, He had a shop by where my grandparents live, Nova was quike and he drove it all the time.... (BUT ALWAYS SEEN HIM IN IT AT THE BAR) No Good if you ask me but rest in peace homie

Yea I thats him an the car there both gone. I was the one that own the shop with him an was also the one at goodguys with him.... I'll post some pics of him soon. Atleast he went out in the nova thats how he wanted to go but just not now.

More news... He was at tj's with some freinds an they all left. Then a friend mikey got a phone call saying chris was in an accident. when he got to the scene he said the car was un-reconizable on fire an they stayed until they took the body away.

Vacaville crash turns fatal when driver is ejected from car

VACAVILLE - A 26-year-old man was killed early this morning when he was ejected from his car after it crashed into a tree on Elmira Road, according to a police press release.

Christopher Michael Marks died at the scene shortly after 1 a.m. A witness told police that Marks was traveling eastbound on Elmira Road at about 35 mph when he suddenly accelerated to 65 mph at the intersection of Christine Drive.

Marks lost control of his 1963 Chevrolet.

Vaca man killed in early morning crash

A 26-year-old Vacaville resident died early this morning after losing control of his vehicle on the wet roadway, Vacaville Police said.

The Solano County Coroner's Office identified the driver as Christopher Michael Marks, of Vacaville. Police responded to the solo vehicle accident at on Elmira Road, east of Christine Drive shortly after 1 a.m. where they found Marks' blue 1963 Chevrolet on a raised center island where it came to rest against a tree.

Any witnesses are asked to contact officer Jeff Polder at 449.5282.

My condolences goes out to you. This shows we have to be careful in inclement weather conditions!!

Just this morning, I was spinning out just almost every stoplight and I was trying to be careful and with traction control. Also sometimes I also loss a little traction when I hit second gear. So be careful with your stangs if you are driving them in the rain.

That's just terrible [Frown] . The guy make is through a tragic event "being paralized" then having His life cut short is horrible. My condolences to all His friend's & family. Glad to hear that at least He was'nt driving with anyone in the car when the accident happened. RIP.

I know exactly how you feel man. My friends and I went through the same thing when our friend was killed on impact on his motorcycle 2 months back in October. Seems like this is happening way too much...
