I HEARD THAT FORD IS GOING TURBO I WAS AT THIS WE SITE AND HEARD THAT THE GT500 WILL GO TO AN ALL ALUMINUM 5.0 DOCH TWIN TURBO AND ITS SUPPOSED TO MAKE ALOT OF POWER ON LITTLE BOOST.AND THEY HAVE A MUSTANG CODE NAMED (777) 7.0L 700HP 700LB OF TORQUE DAMM I HOPE THIS IS TRU IT WILL BE CALLED THA GT500SS.........

yea i was reading in on of the new car magazines that ford is goin to step down in cylinders and make more power with the turbo plus fuel economy theyre doin it first with the fuzion gt and supposed to be doin a F100 with a turbo 6

Here are a few more details. It's supposed to be a version of the 6.2L Boss/Hurricane engine.

That GDI sounds cool too - Gasoline direct injection is a latest variant of fuel injection employed in modern two- and four- stroke petrol engines. The petrol/gasoline is highly pressurised, and injected via a common rail fuel line directly into the combustion chamber of each cylinder, as opposed to conventional multi-point fuel injection that happens in the intake tract, or cylinder port.

Gasoline direct injection enables a stratified fuel charge (ultra lean burn) combustion for improved fuel efficiency and reduced emission levels at low load.

If ford does go that route I am sure they will find some way to fuck it up it will be a 7777 which means 7.0 displacement 700lb torque 7000 rpm and 7000 lbs! of vehicle weight Why do these car makers continue to put big hp engines in these tank like cars!
