If people have more than 4 things for sale why dont they combine there posts instead of posting half a page full. If anyone posts it is off the page or at the bottom in no time at all. I understand everyone wants to sell the stuff but it crowds the board with the same items ttt all the time. I rarely post but be considerate of others. I do think I have about 15 different size bolts from ford vehicles I need to list individually soon.

IMO people are coming to that section looking for a certain/specific part(s). I know I rarely look at a post with multiple parts as I dont have the time to sit and read through it all, most people dont. So to keep from having to read every post and to weed through all the bs, people can click the link for the part they are looking for. A great tool to clean up the for sale section would be to allow the option of deleting a post in that section if the part has sold or is no longer available. It takes up space anyhow, why not delete it????

You don't have the extra few seconds it takes to look through a post but you have the time to weed through the huge list of stuff? What's the difference?

I agree though, should be able to delete your own posts. That would go along with what someone said a few days ago about re-doing the site.

I feel it doesn't need a major change, but a few smaller things.

Maybe just post in the vendor section if you have 30 different things to sell every week? That way you don't have to ever bump your posts and the one thing I post isn't 2 pages back 4 hours after I post it.

+1 if you have more than a certain number of items you should post on the vendor section, and contribute to cafords.com with a donation.

I would be satisfied if there were a separate section for selling cars. I remember putting my Saleen up for sale a few years ago. Just had to laugh when my $20k car kept getting bumped to the 3rd or 4th page when people kept ttt their $5 valve covers or 10 hole rims.

I've seen a post parting a car out then 30 more with each part off the same car. I don't mind looking through a post with several parts listed, if you do mind then don't look and someone else can get the deal. Maybe make it so you can remove your own posts, can only have 5 active posts at once and a set number of posts in ford sale per month? Its cool to make some money but if you make a living parting cars move it to the vendor section.

Try listing off the major things you have for sale in the title so people know whats inside ex: brand names, aftermarket parts or stock parts etc.

I agree it is annoying to have 15 posts from the same person all in a row, but i too rarely click on links that just say "parts for sale" maybe being a little more specific in the title would be nice

This is america ppl are gonna post what theyre gonna post but i do agree with having a section specific for CARS only that would be a little more convenient. Just my opinion

Iono about the deleting your own topic part. I kno there have been some occasions in the past where sellers have been busted out on their threads. Luckily they can't delete them and other buyers can read them and become aware of the type of seller they are. The vast majority of us don't sell bunk parts (hopefully) and wouldn't use the option to be shady. But im sure there are those who would. I like the idea of being able to delete them but it is kind of a catch 22 IMO

Good point, I didn't think about that. I actually was able to prove my point when I got fucked on that "roller" 351 from 1320master last year..... not like it did me any good anyway. [Mad]

If you don't want to click on a "parts for sale" thread then don't, I'm happy to look through it and grab up the deals! [Big Grin] I just hate seeing a thread for parting out a 90 5.0, then every piece off the car having its own thread. Shit posted that day is now 2 pages back. You TTT your thread then that gets out of hand.
