yo dustin, if you black it out, you have to do the tailights too.

Thats what i think too, but everyone keeps telling me that my car needs more black in the rear since I got rid of the stock black spoiler.... I like the blackout, but I dont think my car needs it....

You could smoke the taillights a bit, not too much that looks like a rice burner, thats what i did.
Don't know if you could see the taillight much, that what i'm talking about

i like the gloss black...my buddy has a maverick in silver pearl with the flat black and it just doesn't look "finished"
if ur gunna paint it, then i personally like the gloss...but thats just me

If its something removable then i say do it cuz you can always revert back to the original way. Either way it looks good but in my opinion I like the blackout panel.

I like it black!
I have also thought about what it would look like to black out the lower bumper cover from the little slits down...following the curved line. (That little indented section?)

What he said...
I vote lower bumper insert:

Or both:

If you black the mustang letters in that might throw some pizazz in as well

I saw a blue mach yesterday that had the flat black panel-it looked clean and mean!
Go for it!

Black panel with the shaved terminator rear bumper looks good! Adds a nice contrast and gives it a subtle change that only enthusiasts would give a damn about.

+1 For the black out between the lights...You should get some black decal tape, like what's on your hood, for the trunk lid...That way if you don't like it you can take it off....
just my .02

I LOVE the black out panel.
big block camaros and I believe some big block (428,429,boss) mustangs had the black out panel.
I tried to get CM4HAWKS to do this to his 67 but he told me to fuck off.
I think it looks great!

i think the shaved 03 rear and the black out panel would look sick! or don't do the black out and tint the tails....
