It's nice to finally have a garage..I did the full polish on the car the other day with a buffer, and polished out the lips by hand. Everything overall took a few hours and it came out pretty decent. Nice to see this old paint have some shine. Maybe I should claybar now [Confused]

I'll go take better pictures this weekend of the whole car.

Yes thats the roomates Lexus, he has new rims with not as stretched tires. Some smoother looking side skirts and the car would be on point. Here's some pictures I took.

I did the wash, then paint/wax cleaner, then polish, then wax...I left out the claybar, damn it!

Wash to remove dirt, claybar to remove stuck on contaminants, then polishes. If you polish first you run the risk of more swirl marks if not scratching the paint. Polishing/buffing pad should match the compound.

Looks good as is though!

I rolled out to the Pleasanton photo shoot with a Mazda5. Not a VIP ride but more wagonist/van style. Also rolled out to one of the JDM Theory meets in Union City. Funny if we'd meet at one of the VSC local meets since we chop it up here.
