3 weeks ago I hired a pest control company that we use here at work to spray my house. The house was empty almost a year before we bought it so naturally there are going to be some bugs.

The earwigs/pincherbugs whatever the fuck are HUGE in Newark and were very abundant outside and the other nasty fucks outside we all over...the pest control company wasted these guys and I've seen little to no movement of any kind outside.

Now for the inside,...FUCK. I think they brought all the spiders from outside IN> 1 week ago I got bit by some nasty bitch during the night and my ankle was swallon for three days with open sore that is just now healing. Two nights ago a silver dollar sized black and brown bohemouth of a spider was found making a nest above my daughters changing table. When his eyes moved you could see it and when he tried to scamper away I swear I could hear his fucking legs.

Last night what looks to be a brown recluse was found in my sons bed crawling along like no ones business.

These fuckers don't look sick or dying they are fat healthy sons a bitches. HOW TO BE RID OF SPIDERS!??!?!!?! HELP.

The pest people are coming back out today but what else can I do.

check windows for access points, check door gaps to make sure they are tight so none can pass through. If you leave your doors open for air, get a screen door. Buy and leave spider bait traps etc under all your sinks.
If all else fails, Take a weekend getaway and bug bomb the shit outta your house before leaving. [patriot]

I wouldnt sleep hahahahaha i'd be paranoid like a mothaf*ka! I'd probably sleep in my car if i seen one of those things (silver dollar sized?!)

I'd harras the hell out of the pest company and go to lowes and spend $$$$ on some heavy pest control products that would make me *feel* confortable.

I'd definetly move everything out the room and spray that fucker 10 / 20 times hahaha

We have Black Widows at one of our Rent houses in Sacramento and one time after our house had been vacant for 2 months.. I pulled into the garage and something hit me on my shoulders.. I looked around, a big a$$ blackwidow fell ALMOST on top of me! I stomped that sons a bitch 20 times and ran around the block 5 times..

Fuckers are creepy!

Be careful of the Brown Recluse *sp spider. Man the bite on those is nasty. I know like 4 people that have been bit by those. What I did was by me one of those sprayer pumps with some powerful stuff (Ortho Home defense is good). And spray around the house and eaves like every 2-4 months. And I havent had a bug in sight in a while. Also have the spray that foam stuff up in cracks and stuff. We bought a real old house so we were battling spiders the first month or so. CLear sailing now.

spiders are good, they catch all the other bugs and flys. I kept a black widow as a pet for 3 years in a jar....I'm alive.

+1 You can get the big bottle with the hose and spray head right on it. Spray around the edges of your rooms, all the way around any doors leading outside and get around all the windows. I had the best luck with it, blasted the shit out of the house inside and out. That was the end of the bugs around my house and its safe to use. I had 3 cats, 2 dogs and 2 little ones, no danger once its dry.

haha i have a simular story, i was at work outside and we found a black widow in one cristy box and a brown leclus *sp* in another, so we caught the brown leclus and put it in the can with the black widow, nothing happened though it was kinda disapointing [Frown]

looks like a brown recluse! I was reading online about the brwon recluse and they are found many times in shoes and in beds.

bug guy never showed yesterday...I'm meeting him today on my lunch and after work I'll also be getting some traps, pump spray and any other things I can find at the store. I'm done with these things.

That pic is definitely not a brown recluse. They get a little bigger than a quarter and are BROWN as well as having unique markings on there backs that resemble a fiddle (fiddlebacks). However you could have been bitten by one by what you've said about open sores. Some people get it much worse than others depending on your immune system. Also black widows don't roam like Brown recluses do so you would be more likely to get bit by one. Arachnids 101

Whatever bit me it wasn't an itchy bite....shit hurt in the morning. But my ankle is healing on its own pretty nice....from what I've read a brown recluse bite your pretty much fucked. So I doubt it was that, thank God.

Pest guy came today and pulled out the big guns. Sprayed all the base boards and crown mouldings, spray in the attic area and under the house sprayed behind all appliances, door frames, window frames in and out. Shot the garage rafters and behind the washer/dryer/waterheater. Did the bath rooms and around all vents. I asked him to stay away from the kitchen though.

Then he did the exterior of the house with a large air compressed hose. This thing was crazy, shot so much shit it actually cleaned the sides of the house. Blew leaves off the driveway and drenched the overhanging of the house and base. Says its safe for pets and kids once it dries so I left the dog in the house. He was there for a good 1 1/2 hours. Didn't give me shit for having them come back out and said sometimes it takes a couple rounds to get the nasty ones flushed out.

I did save a daddy long leg from death though. I like those.

I talked to the wife today and she said she just had him spot spray corners of the rooms and around the house!!! It's no fuckin wonder we still had bugs. If anything lives through what homeboy did today (even US) then I'll be supprised.

I picked up the pump spray shit for spiders, it has the yellow cap and nozzle can't remember the name...then I bated the corners of the garage and behind the toilets. I'm taking no chances.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- A UC Riverside study shows that where brown recluse spiders are common, people can co-habitate with them and bites are infrequent. The study by Rick Vetter, staff research associate in the department of entomology at UC Riverside and an internationally known expert on spiders, focused on 2,055 brown recluse spiders collected in a Kansas home of a family of four. Despite the abundance of spiders, no one in the family received bites from the potentially dangerous arachnids. Found this info and the recluse spiders aren't very common here. Don't panic
