car did pass smog in February but now it needs a cat too....

the oil cap looks similar and you can see the alternator too.it looks like a 4.6 from a 96-98 i see plug wires

One valve cover. One center mounted timing chain cover. If that's a V8, then it's tipped on it's side and the other cylinder bank is down near the frame rail. All I see is a 2.3L 4 banger.
