Who knows if the thieves knew the guy- my wife and kid were in the GT, and they noticed some guys follow them into a store lot- just happened to 'park near' the car, and hang out.
She and the kid got back in and left, just in case.
It's pretty easy to notice a sweet car, and if you're not aware, the guy could follow you to wherever- what's worse, if it's a business, that would say 8 hours or so to figure a way to jack the car.
I hate piece of shit car thieves, oh yes I do.
