some one please buy it and put a ford power train in it, new rims wouldnt hurt either. in the movie they built it from spare parts and it looks like.

I never thought I'd see anything worse than throwing a Chevy engine in a Ford like a lot of people do with hotrods.

Its funny how they cant put the title of the movie the car is in but its all over the windows and can be seen in most of the pics. Check out the other auction they have, the one with the Skyline motor is the show car and the other one has a 440 stroker small block in it. Guess they didn't get the needed HP out of the rice motor for the non CG scenes in the movie so they built a motor with real power.

They should remake Gone in 60 Seconds again so they can smash that b*tch in the tow yard!

Everything else on the car looks exactly the same, just this one has a real motor in it. I'd kick the rims down a hill and loose the drift brake handle, then it would be a decent car. Don't get me wrong, I have respect for Skyline's, Supra's and other built imports, I just don't think they need to put those motors in a classic Mustang.

from what i remember the fastback with the skyline motor in it was for show only, and was not even fully functional, the stunt cars all had Ford crate motors in them, they did the same thing with the aston martins in the james bond films, they all had carberated ford racing motors

personally, i like that car. I think it would handle very well and be extremly reliable once gone through. not to mention, its different!
