Did some landscaping over the weekend. That left some mounds of dirt. Was wondering how do you or where do you/can you get rid of dirt?

Try posting it up on Craigslist in the free section. Someone might be all over it and you wouldn't have to touch it again.

or try the penny saver or call a local landscape company - they usually take it to fill in holes on their jobs.

Yeah, there's people out there looking for clean fill dirt. I'd throw it up there and see what happens.

is it clean fill dirt? i would find a spot in your yard to keep it in one large pile. maybe on the side yard area near your house where noone can see it?
i always end up needing atleast a shovel full of dirt when doing minor landscaping projects (planting, removing dead plants and/or trees, irrigation, etc...)

That is actually not a bad idea. I do plan to do some raised beds in my backyard....

Dump out here said negative on the dirt. Which I found pretty ironic.

Not sure where you are. But the Winton Dump in Hayward will take it as well as the recycle place on Zanker in Milpitas.

Craigslist or keep it. I know Ive needed dirt before and someday youll need it lol. If anything start a new raised garden with it. Or build a planter box for the old lady's flowers youll get points and every girl loves flowers.
