My black 1993 mustang 5.0 was stolen from in front of my house in north oakland on tuesday night/ wednesday morning. I'm offering anyone who leads me to the car $1,000 cash no questions asked.

The car has no front license plate, tinted windows all around and a newer shiny black paint job. The plate number starts with 3LPQ. The distinctive mark of this car is that it has no inner front driver side parking light. It is missing. The car has no windshield wipers. It has an Audiomobile license plate frame in back. Please if you have seen this car around, contact me, and if your information leads to finding the car you'll have yourself a thousand bucks. Thank you

There's a nice one here in Rocklin I've seen a bunch of times that's a perfect target just sitting on the street. I almost stopped to let the person know about what happened to my car but I would just feel kinda weird walking up to someone's door like that.

Sup man! I don't know if you remember but i'm the dude that had the mustang stolen and you sent me an email to help cheer me up. So I know that being a fellow mustang owner you'll be happy to hear that I just got it back!! Some dipshit kid replied to my ad and said that the dudes who stole it were riding it around and had it back over by his house. But then he said "it's got the bbk cold air intake right?". So obviously I knew he was in with the dudes or at least had seen under the hood. So I roll around the area and I see the car, only theres 3 dudes sitting on it and around it. So I instantly call police and just post right there on the corner in my other car with the 12 gauge. Haha i told the lady on 911 that if the cops didnt get there soon I was gonna take matters into my own hands. I knew that would get the cops there faster and it did hahaha.

So cops got there and get em, but since none of em were in the car they couldn't stick any charges. Little turds, oh well. Music all got ripped out, nice set of speakers, nice premiere deck and a nice mtx amp but oh well. I got my car back that's all I care about. The stereo is replaceable. I didn't realize how easy it is to steal mustangs. All they have to do is move that little white plastic piece on the wiring harness. Crazy.

So yah just thought you'd be happy to hear. And I definitely want to know some tips about not getting the car stolen again. I'm parking it in a garage now at least, but I still don't want to get it jacked when it's parked out in the streets. Let me know man. Thanks for the good will too!

u fag im the one who called u cause those kid stalled right in front of my bed room window so me being a mustang coupe owner and yes mines is black too i see what the fuck they are doin they pop the hood start it up and take off then i call u let u know whats up and i also called twice cause i seen this car parked a few block away b4 i arived home from reno i also emailed u and why would i give my adress and name . and if the cops got them all how can i be postin this up. next time i wont try to help anyone out fuck it

Hello all. This is a helluva way to make an entrance to the forum, but the notchback on CL is mine. I'm happy to say that it's back to it's home and is sitting in it's new spot, the garage [Whoo Whooooo!] (thats the best damn emoticon of all time by the way).

The damage is pretty minimal, all things considered. I'll post pics when I get a chance. Driver door lock was crudely removed. Music is all gone, besides my nice pair of tweeters (dumbasses). Nice premiere head unit, nice $600 Mtx amp, pair of Focal speakers in the front and Alpine type R in the back, broken Kicker KX550.4 4 channel amp which i was ready to take to fedex the morning it got stolen to send it back to kicker. They even stole the cheap ass amp kit wiring, left the rca and remote wires lol. They also stole my nice black letterman style jacket but left my baseball cleats at least.

The whole steering column plastic dash piece is dislodged but it's not broken. I never knew how easy it was to steal these things. All they did was taking that little harness off and slide the little plastic piece up. I knew it was easy but wow.

Oh yah, and they put around 250 miles on the car in about 4 days. You guys will get a kick out of what the tires look like now. The entire inside of the rear wheel wells are coated with rubber. Supposedly the cops said there were multiple calls about the car driving dangerously, one involving the passenger pointing a gun out the window at a pedestrian. The car seems to run just fine, but i'm taking it in tomorrow to get it checked out. No codes came up on my scan tool at least. One of the mufflers looks dislodged, i'm guessing from hitting a crucial east oakland speed bump at upwards of 45.

But I can't even begin to tell you guys how grateful I am. It's awesome to know that people will look out for the good. Thank you so much for submitting my ad! And a SPECIAL thanks to Mr. Colla, who I feel like a collasal dickhead for suspecting was in on it. It was just the circumstance, the fact that he knew I had a bbk cold AI, and the fact that there were 3 guys sitting on the car. I thought maybe he was just gonna try to rob me for the money. But it made no sense to me why he would do it that way, so I was confused. Thank god for this website. Now we have it cleared up, and he will be handsomely rewarded.

On another note, i'm so happy to find a forum like this since I love talking stangs etc. Thank you!!!!!!
