Hey guys/gals,

I have a 89 Notch that has been converted into a full road race car and is not street legal. All the emission stuff has been removed.

The engine goes way down on power after a little heat gets into the engine.

I need help diagnosing the problem. Any shops out that can be recommended?

I'm in Sacramento, and don't want to trailer the car to far.

Thanks

It's basically a stock FI 5.0 motor with painless wiring, and stock computer.

Nothing to challenging, but I doubt a scan tool is going to pinpoint the problem.

If you're in Sacramento try out Advanced Engine Development. Shaun's phone number is 916-715-7569 and Drew's number is 916-275-8212. Their website is http://www.advancedenginedevelopment.com

If you pulled all the emissions equipment, you probably pulled the charcoal cannister...and capped the line. Tank still needs to be vented. Seen this one way too many times. [Smile]
