Yesterday I finally got what I have been wanting for a long time. I returned my 95 to mostly stock & traded it for an unmolested 91 LX notch!!! I know alot of you probably think Im crazy, but I have already had three SN95's & I still have a Mach, so I have been wanting a fox coupe for a long time. Thanks to Stanger50 for the trade...Hope you like the 95 & take as good care of it as I did...

The coupe is in excellent shape, & runs great, & besides the fact its an AOD, its exactly what i wanted. I will be swapping out the AOD for a 5 speed in the next few months & then I will be doing a 5 lug swap & installing my black deep dish 03 Cobra's that were on the 95. I eventually will swap out the porno red interior, although it is in good shape, but I want all black interior....I also have the Bilsteins & MM LCA's that were on the 95 & these will be on the car in a few weeks. For now, the car is bonestock besides sportlines, BBK o/r h, & magnaflow catback.

Anyway, here she is.....










I will have to hit up Luke87GT to help me out with the LX bumper sag too...LOL!!!


Porno Red interior in all its glory....LOL!!! This will eventually get swapped out but honestly, I dont mind it much....

Dude that car is clean, I don't think it was a bad trade,and AOD's are not that slow, besides you're going to swap it for a 5Sp anyway...I'll take a fox over a SN95 any day, especially cause i have a Bullitt right now and I would love to have a fox right now...As for the porno red, it will grow on you...lol Atleast you have GT seats...

sorry for the ghost act 92_chp. i was looking more for a trade then anything. plus, dustin kept his 95 flawless. so i know i was getting a strong pony. as of the coupe, it looks better in person and purrs like a kitten. i miss it already. im glad you like it dustin. no matter what, the porno red is not that bad after a few beers i almost forgot...........pics replaced the 04 mach 1's for blow67's cobra's. i might run the black r's for a minute.

finally got a fox! very clean looking dustin. u know how i feel about the aod & porno red tho all good, she's a clean ass lookin notch fo sho & u will be doing all the swaps soon anyways. i'd love to have another notch as well some day. that black one on cl for $8500 looks hella clean, but too much $$$.

Hey James, here is a few pics of the 95 while it was on the Mach wheels. I kinda like it, especially if it had a spacer in the rear....Either way it looks good because you cant go wrong with black on yellow....

To make you feel better my, Race Car has Red Interior in it, and is an automatic, a Lentech AOD, if your plans are to make it a 10 Second street/strip Coupe keep it an automatic and put like a built AOD or C4

That is a nice fox. I also will be getting a fox soon. I have had two SN95's as well. I will be looking for a similar body style as well. And you are right, that porno red has to go ASAP.

As far as the Porno red, it really doesnt bother me as much as everyone else. There are far better mods that I can spend my cash on than new interior, especially since mine is still clean....It might get swapped one day though for black or gray....

I just find it funny that james didnt get the good hits like u are when he had it. an now that u own it nobody is really hating on it like they did when James had it. I guess a better camera shows the true beauty of it. that is one clean notch. also pm a price for those headers u have lmk maybe get first dibs on it i u can thanx

I got a few mods i got up my sleeve for james if he wants to do them. payment plan maybe lol

Nick, so far, I plan on doing 5 speed 1st, then 5 lug, installing all my old suspension from the 95, fitting my wheels on, then i will start saving for HCI....At 1st I just want to install the HCI on my stock motor, but i would like to build a nice 331 or 347 for it down the road. I will most likey go with Trickflow heads & a Holley Systemax intake, not too sure what cam Im gonna get though....

Black carpet, seats, and headliner can go a long way Dustin.

Leaving the dash trim and console red + combine red cobra calipers, Cobra R centercaps with red trim, etc. There are things you can do to have the finest Chicago Bulls Edition coupe in Northern California lol!

Or just leave it red all around like shifty says. All original.

MUCH Better. I had those on my 94 and was running a 1/2 spacer which looked great.

I don't know why people rag on AOD cars so much..

do you think your 5-speed is that much faster?...

I am willing to bet that 90% of this site CANNOT shift faster than that AOD is able to shift...

dustin: again, am happy you love the coupe just as much as i did. clean all around. we did eachother a favor in a way.

far as the coupe, you would never guess that it has 172k miles on it. someone took very care of it.

Luke.........I dont think the fox will be coming out to any of the out of town cruises yet. I still need to fix a few things & do the 5 speed & then it will come out...

Jason....I dont think Im faster at shifting than an AOD at all, but I fall asleep driving an auto...Are you telling me if you never had a Fox in your life & you just picked up a coupe, you wouldnt want to bang your own gears?? There is no way this car is staying an auto. This car is not intented to be an all out drag car, but if it was I would consider the auto route....


James...... I think we both got a good deal & a welcome change. I love that 95 & dont let anyone tell you yellow is garbage. IMO, thats the best color available for the SN95's. You got yourself a good SN95, I wouldve kept it if I couldve afforded buying a fox also...


GTowned.... He's gonn amail me back the EPIK95 plates so i can hang em in the garage. The YLAPONY's as well....

The EPIKFOX plate would be cool, but Im still debating. I wish I could figure out something with NOTCH in it....LOL @ the EPIKMPG for the Rabbit!!!!

for most of these hyphy wanna-bes, all they need is 1st gear and 15" tires anyways....

but I'm just wondering why people dog on AOD's so bad when they can't even shift their car right anyways....

but, yes, I would convert right away too but that's because I can actually shift a car properly....
