I went to auto zone and kragen yesterday to rent a code puller. I guess their policy now is you have to buy them. No more rentals. Has this happened in your guys area?

Yea I think this is part of some state initiative. I think it spills onto all diagnostic type tool rental. Sucks too because I wanted to rent one over the weekend too.

yup said the same thing to me.. so i just bought the little whote one from kragen for 39.99 good enough for me.

that sucks! i bought an obd 2 scanner a couple years ago... if anyone in the sacramento area needs one, i will let u borrow it...
