I finally finished my car this weekend and took a couple of pictures lst night. The modding will definitley continue, but I finally finished the things that I had on my immediate to-do list..mostly cosmetic since a Saleen SHOULD NOT look beat up [Mad]

Here's what I did since I got the car:
1. New clutch
2. replaced cracked side skirts with Authentic Saleen urethane skirts
3. freshly painted bumpers and side skirts
4. new diamond clear corner lights
5. MRC racing seats w/ custom brackets
6. Fresh Saleen graphics/decals around the car
7. Hyperblack Saleen wheels
8. 2005+ Saleen side badges
9. Repaired and re-charged air coditioner
10. painted calipers
11. cleaned the $h!t out of the interior panels, carpet, and rear seat!

Its ready to drive and seems pretty reliable. I still have a long list of things I want to do, but for now its good to go! Next will be new tires and new brakes/rotors.

Let me know what you guys think...and thanks to all who gave me suggestions! [patriot]

NICE!, that has always been one of my favorite year Saleens! You can always add HID's to the list.

Damn the interior looks awesome and those seats.....sick! To bad my big ass won't fit in them...

Thanks everyone! My main intent for this car was to bring it back to its original beauty with a little fine detailing. I have always been a big fan of SN95's and this one may be a keeper [patriot]

The rims are all 18x9 and the rear tire is 275-40-18.

Damn, lookin good man! Never seen Hyperblack on an sn95 Saleen until now... looks just as good as I imagined it would! Feels good to bring a neglected car back to life, huh?

I still think it's funny how both of our cars look a million times better after the trade. I never liked black FR500's, but just wanted a change for the time being. Now I'm not gettin rid of em cause they made my car look badass! I'll be posting pics of mine this weekend after I get some small things done to it (Borla tips, re-installing my old SS bumper inserts, re-paint my calipers, etc)

Oh it definitely feels good bringing it back to life! And yes, thank you VERY much for coming through with the trade. I agree, both our cars look 10x's better now [patriot] [burnout]

Thanks for the comments guys! I do want to lower it a little more, but thats not really a priority on my list right now. I'll do that once I change the shocks and struts.

The bumpers were painted at a shop in Hayward. The guy hooked me up because I sold him some parts off my bike. It's not the "best" job, but it looks good and he fixed the cracks on my rear bumper.

Thanks again everyone. The paint really isnt all that "wet". Its pretty clean for its age, but it has it flaws [Frown] Hopefully I can find the time to buff it out and bring the true shine back out.

Anyone know anyone around Hayward who can wet sand and buff the whole car for me???

WHats up nick...thanks bro! Yea, I like the hypercoat look too. Its really different. As for the brand, i'm not sure what they are...I just trade for my FR500's so I never really looked into finiding that out.

So did you end up with an SN95??

Posted by Diamond Dave (Member # 5023) on :

I believe they are Wheel Replicas. I got em used too so I'm not 100%, but that's what we get through my work and they look identical.

Thanks man...Yea, it was in need of a makeover. I actually didnt do too much to it, but I think the little details are what count with cars like this.

I'll let you know if i can make it out to pick up the parts. Thanks again for the info on the car and let me know if you pick up another! [Whoo Whooooo!]
