well we have been waiting for about 2 months now on a short sale on a place in discovery bay. Found out yesterday that it was all approved (while on the honeymoon) and we sign paper july 1st. Its a 4 bed 2 1/2 bath 1800 sqrft. Now its time to start packing.

Congrats! You will love it here. I bought my house here in Disco Bay on March 4th, my birthday of this year.

Mine is 3b 2 bath and 1989 square feet. I paid less than 300K for it. Not on the water tho [Frown]

That is my next move!!

ya that is our next move is to the water, figured this was a good starter house. So were are you located?

Right off of Clipper, the side that is not on the water, but I had to start somewhere!!

well i could of found one out in livermore for around that same price but that was a little out of what we were looking to spend on our first place. Also this house needs 0 done were as in livermore i would be getting a fixer up for that price wich isnt a problem but still money was the decieding factor. I love being close to the water as well.
