I just had my first child!!!

Austin Allen (5lbs 2 oz)

Born 6 weeks early!

I am deployed with the Air Force in the sand, and was due to be back in 2 weeks. I guess he is like his dad, and turns everything into a race... he wins.

Baby, and momma are doing fine! It's weird not being able to experience it first hand... doesn't seem real yet? I have been gone for 4 months... man did I miss out!

Thanks guys... the little guy is doing well, and hopefully will ba able to go home soon. It is very hard not being able to be there for him, and his mother. No luck in leaving early with our mission requirements.

I am counting the days though...

Shawn, that is great news but that has to be making the last bit of your stay over there unbearably long! Congratulations and welcome to the world of fatherhood! It's hard to believe that my little guy is going to be 3 already in August and we have our little girl due in mid June. You'll be amazed at how fast time disappears. He'll keep you busy! Congrats again.
